Notes/Commercial Description:
The West Coast comes to Jax with this extremely hoppy, true India Pale Ale. Our two-row malted barley and caramel malt come to life with a ?@!#-ton of Northwest hops. We use 4 different hops during the brewing process and during dry hopping. It’s music to your nose.

Can from Tipples. Pours deep golden colored with a fluffy white one finger head. Beautiful aromatics with pine, grapefruit citrus, and floral notes and a sweet malt backbone. Really nice. Flavor is sweet pineapple, mango, grapefruit, pine, dry grassiness, and a light honey sweetness from the malts to balance the big bitter on the tongue. Resinous and juicy to start, but with a lightly dry finish and bubbly carbonation. Very crisp on the finish Nd makes you want to come back for more. This is really good. Seems extremely underrated. This is near perfect for a single IPA for me. I am really having trouble finding any flaws in this...well now gets a little oniony as I go but still very solid.

Bottle as a great extra from CRon_T. Thanks! Pours honey colored with a fluffy white head. Smell is perfumy and fruity, floral and tea like. Mango, orange scents. Taste is moderate bitterness and fruity. Smooth body, pretty easy drinking and tasty. Full slightly rich body with normal carbonation. Lightly sweet somewhere near the finish with a good dose of bitterness as well. Bordering into DIPA territory for me and pretty tasty.

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at CCB Brewpub. Served in a pint glass.

A: Clear gold with a thin white head atop moderate visible carbonation.

S: Pine and melon-spice hops over lightly sweet bready malts.

T: Follows the nose. This is quite balanced without having an excessive amount of caramel malt flavor, which is a plus for me. Moderate pine bitterness in the hang

M: Average body for style, minimal alcohol presence, carbonation on the low side for style.

O: Enjoyable, but nothing I'd actively seek out again.

I poured this from the can into a tulip style glass. There was three fingers of foam with some stickyness. The lacing was light over the orange beer. This beer is relatively clear.

The nose on this beer has nice flowering hops. It isn't a hop bomb, just some lighter hop presence on the top.

The flavor on this beer is decent. It has some citrus and a some malt in there. The balance is a little off. This beer is pretty good. I would like to try this on tap to compare to the canned version.

Pours a clear golden color some hints of orange. Nice big fluffy off white head fed by single bubbles releasing form the bottom looks good.

Aroma is nice bright and hoppy mostly pine resin in the front with some citrus underneath some light malt sweetness underneath the hops. Nice nose on this one.

Taste is about same good hop notes pine resin and citrus mostly grapefruit in nature. Some light caramel sweetness good hop flavors but not overly bitter, be a good starter IPA or great for someone who doesn't want to scrap hop resin off there tongue.

Mouthfeel is light side of medium carbonation about the same lighter side of medium.

Overall not a bad IPA easy drinking be good brew if your on the beech in Jacksonville FL. Personally like my IPA's with little more kick but good.

This had tons of life with loads of bubbly carbonation but the color seemed a tad light. The color was somewhere between a yellow and an orange but relatively clear.

The aromas were strong on the onion, earthy, humid forest type but then turned fruity with grapefruit and orange rind. Very interesting.

The flavor seemed less diverse with a floral start and an orange rind finish. The finish is quite bitter with a harsh and astringent feel.

It's always tricky to review beers that seem to be well received but your experience is not up to that standard. I'll have to try it again in hopes I find it better.

A-cloudy amber with a cream stable head

S-creamy citrusy hops. medium strength. some age to it.

T-comes in with a strong flavor of aged citrusy hops. it's a very thorough and somewhat grainy flavor. matching after-taste. fair lack of bitterness.

M-creamy medium carbonation with a nice creamy finish

O-it really doesn't have the best flavor, but it is extremely crisp and drinkable. i went through this real quickly because it went down so easily. i wouldn't discourage you from going out and trying this, it might even be worth getting the 6-pack.

Pours a clear medium orange with big soapy offwhite head, big clump in the middle of the glass sticks around, blobs of lace lining the glass. Smell: quite resiny, floral / perfume, stone fruit and light caramel back. Taste: juicy peach, pine, citrus rind, wheat biscuit. Sweet, resin and prickly bitterness in the finish. Canned 4/2. Worth a try. (To me this doesn't have any of the "bad Summit" aspects, to which I'm usually very sensitive).

Pours copper and clear, forms a huge three finger crown of white lacing. Good retention on this one with loose smattered lacing.

Floral and piney hops with a backing of orange citrus. The malt adds some honey and bready sweetness for balance. A bit of dankness and lychee on the finish.

Bready malt has some caramel and honey sweetness and gets quite grainy near the finish. Hops are mild with orange citrus, pine and resin, some honeydew in there as well. Medium bitterness and some drying to go with a dull pine and touch of garlic.

Smooth and medium/easy body with enough carbonation. Alcohol is masked well and it does start to dry. The lingering grain and herbal/garlic edge is a turn off.

Highly drinkable IPA, smooth carbonation and light body. Hops are pedestrian IPA in strength with the melon flavor being the bright spot.
