Poured on-tap at the brewery in JAX, the beer was served in a pint glass. The beer presents a lovely bright yellow-orange color, with a thin ring of bubbles around the glass. Orange citrus and green hoppy aromas. This beer leaves a great lacing along the glass. Mid-bodied, with a flash of orange flavor before a truckload of hops punch you in the mouth. Very peppery and green on the finish. Good length of linger on this beer for all the flavor it carries. Creamy bodied, and almost a "thickness" that allows you to really absorb all the different nuances of flavors the beer has in store for you. Two thumbs up!

As noted in another review, the fantastic hop aroma in this brew doesn't totally transfer over to the taste. I didn't get as much of a kick as I was hoping for when I tasted it, however the taste was very pleasant and enjoyable. It drinks more like a pale ale, but still with that great hop aroma. I had a blast visiting Intuition and would be happy to make an afternoon out of enjoying their beer anytime I'm in town. They let us sample their dubbel out of the tank on the tour, and I think that will be spectacular. They'd also just acquired 2 Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels and were really pumped about them. Just a fun time to be around this crew.

Pours a deep orange color with hardly any head. There is also very little lacing on the glass. It seems almost thin. The smell makes up for that though. Piney hops dominate the aroma. Tastes are more fruity - citrus and apricot. All in all I like the taste. Thes brew is very drinkable and goes down well. A nice selection for a local Jville brewery.

A - Pours with one and a half fingers of white foam, resting on top of a hazy, orange-copper body. The foam settles slowly and leaves nice, thick lace.

S - Pungent hop aroma with lots of pine and tropical fruit. Some bready malt in the background with just a hint of caramel.

T - Sweet malt up front with some bready character and a hint of toffee. Pine hop flavor in the middle with a hint of floral character. The beer finishes with dry bready malt and a strong, somewhat harsh bitterness.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a very dry finish.

D - The hop aroma is excellent, thought the flavor is a bit weaker. The fruity hop nose is rich and juicy but it is more one dimensional flavor wise with pine and some spicy, floral notes that just don't live up to the aroma. There is bready malt character throughout but it gets so dry in the finish that it leaves little to balance the stiff bitterness. Drinkable, but with a touch more flavor and some residual sweetness to even out the finish it could be even better.
