I kind of have a love hate with this beer. Anyway the ABV IS WRONG. its not that strong, not even close. Good they fixed that as I reported.
A: well its too cold from the tap, so its got very little head. You think they do it right @ brewery but sadly its all about making money at this place IMHO. AS it warmed the lacing was good, and the beer was cloudy. Orange color.
S: it has a cereal malt front end, with flowers and bananas and clove, seemed like a hefe to me. Sweet dough yeast. bread like.
T: Is slightly acidic, and bitter, somewhat dry and faintly sweet. again its not in the style of a barnyard saison and sadly while the style is open, I judge off a DuPont, and this is not in the range. Its not bad mind yea. At least the first 1 is good. The 2nd beer, seemed to taste chalky, but I think that's our water more than anything. The finish is somewhat astringent.
M: served too cold, little carbonation, medium body. 2 was limit.
O: its a decent beer, I had 2 and its was all I wanted.

On tap at the Intuition tasting room. Served in a thick cervoise, the brew appears a hazed amber color with a thin white head that receeds fairly fast. A light swirl revives a finger back to the surface.
The smell of this brew is fruity with yeasty alcohol esters that blend to a caramel malt focus. A little bit of spice presence but not too much. As it warms up, it doesnt evolve that much and bring out and subtle notes. Just pretty straight forward.
The taste is immediately reminescent of orange rind. Some mild caramel malt sweetness plays off that orange character with morw focus on some fruity to floral quality. A bit of herbal hops providing a contrasting bitterness.
Thia is a medium bodies brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is easily approachable and doesnt have much alcohol impact. I would have liked to seen a bit more yeast impact in this brew. I think altering the fermenting temps would bring out some more desireable character but overall this one is worth a try.

Single finger white head, no real retention, cloudy crimson and golden body. Very bready and musty with light fruity and spicy notes. Flavor is more syrupy with Belgian yeast, light fruits, corriander and mild fig/ dark fruit finish. Light to medium body and moderate to high carbonation. A good beer and true to the style. I still prefer their honey badger saison.

A - Poured with two fingers of white foam on a hazy, golden amber body. The head settles slowly and leaves decent lace.
S - Beady madly with some spicy wheat and yeast notes of clove and black pepper.
T - Thick beady malt notes up front with some toffee. Spicy notes of clove and some grassy hops in the middle. It finishes with more grassy hops and moderate bitterness as well as done c love and lemon notes.
M - Medium body, moderately high carbonation, and a dry finish. Some light astringency in the finish.
D - The second saison that I have had from intuition and I am imposed yet again. The yeast character is not particularly strong but the hops are nicely done and the spices make up by adding some lemon and pepper.
