A-Bright yellow, not totally clear. Weak head, no lacing
S- Faint sweet aroma
T- Sweet start then a ginger-ale like burn, faint hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
MO- Light and dry finish. This is pretty much a real average beer. I wouldn't turn it down.

They aren't brewed at the Jersey Shore. It's contract brewed in Rochester, New York, by a company that also produces Magic Hat and Genesee and imports Labatt’s.

Found it to be just OK. Wouldn't seek it out again. It may be a stepping stone for beer drinkers looking for something better than the usual lite beers.

Being a Jersey Shore guy, I was excited to give this beer a try.

It pours a deep gold color, the head fades away quickly and no lacing was present.

Medium bodied, seems much heavier than your typical macro lagers. Not sure what the ABV is but I am sure it is a little higher than average.

With a name like Beach Haus, I was expecting a lighter, more drinkable beer.
This would not be my first choice after a hot day on the beach.

It is easy to drink, but has some bitterness to it.

It is more full bodied and complex than your typical American beer.

It is a nice beer, not outstanding.

poured a bright yellow, with not much head retention.
The taste and mouth feel were off big time.
To be honest it tasted like sweaty gym socks.

Should have just consumed the calories and had an IPA instead.

Sorry, I'm ftom Jersey, but I think this brew has alot to be desired. Think they have some work to do before they expand to any other styles. Perfect one then move on.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.

Pours light gold with no foam (or very little). Hazy, partially see through. Fruity smell & bubblegum too. Malt and straw taste, some citrus. Pilsy hop close. Light and breezy. Smooth. Strong carbonation, more so than expected. Nice beer - easy but flavorful.

Clear and golden in color with about half inch of bubbly white head which recedes to a thin white lace. Smells malty with lots of biscuit scents coming through.

drinking the beer itself is nice. It has a breads sweetness in the middle and finishes with a moderate hop presence. The beer is light bodied heavily carbonated and easy to drink. Definitely a good brew to convert the adjunct lager drinker to the craft world. It has the tastes he'll know, but just done cleaner and better.

This is an extremely clean easy drinking session beer with decent flavor and I just want to remind everyone how hard it is to craft as clean a pilsner as this one.

A: Bright gold with a crystal clarity. A head of modest proportions, bone white in color, exhibits only a fair rate of retention, dissipating within a minute or two.Carbonation was centered in the glass with a bubbly shower, fairly dense and rapid in rise.

S: After much agitation the aroma was still hard to bring out and didn't factor much strength wise. Mealy hints and dry cereal grains with a bit of greenery but ever so light and ever so insignificant.

T: Some sugary cereal grains at first, things progress to a graininess of fresh grain. A bit of fresh grass, lemon grind and some wet hay factor in as well. The hops come on fairly strong on the finish giving this some redemption, though the grain base I thought was way to sweet and sugary for the first half.

M: The body is light, albeit per style, with not so much carbonation comes about. Slippery feel but ultimately just an average experience.

D: Single serving at best, but falls into purgatory of sorts, most likely doesn't pack enough bang for the discriminatory palate (victory prima pils, great lakes dortmunder) and probably a bit to hoppy for the adjunct drinker. A light affair, overly sweet, not particulary to style, prefer dry and crisp to sweet and sugary. Only could handle one.

end note: this is referred to a american pilsner. since no option exist not sure if this would fit better under the american blonde or american pale lager catergory.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color lager with an average size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma consists of lightly sweet malt with some cereal also being noticeable. Taste is also a mix between some lightly sweet cereal notes with a subtle dry finish. Body is average with good carbonation. Still to sweet in my opinion to be a true pilsner.

PJ, a rep from Beach Haus, came to the store I work at on the night that we had a tasting. Thanks for being really nice and professional, and for providing insight into the brewery expansion process to staff and customers who had questions about it, myself included. It was a fun night with great beer from a brewery I had otherwise not heard of.

The Classic American Pilsner was my favorite of the three offerings (the others being the Cruiser IPA and Winter Rental Schwarzbier). It had a standard appearance for the style, with a bit more of a pleasant yeasty and grainy smell than I expected out of an American pilsner, although I admittedly don't drink them too frequently. That smell continued into the taste, which made for a very nice offering. Crisp mouthfeel as expected made for an overall enjoyable and easy drinking beer.

It's not the kind of beer that'll blow anyone's world, but for something that I'd never heard of before, it's a very nice casual beer to replace the BMC staples. This may end up being my light summer beer when the time comes. Good luck, Beach Haus!

As I've gotten more into craft brews and discovering the world of beer, once in awhile I still desire a crips lighter beer which isn't exactly the norm in the independent brewery sect.

Beach Haus is exactly that - a nice light lager which is perfect for summer.

It certainly reminds you of a Miller Lite, but it has a little more body and hops to it.

It's not going to win any craft brewery awards, but I enjoyed it. I'll get it again next time I'm down at the Jersey Shore.

I had a fresh pint of this poured from the tap at a beer dinner at a new speakeasy in my area and it exceeded my expectations - maybe I set the bar too low for pilsners.

The rep there was from the company which helped as he was actually engaging and super knowledgable about the beer ( this guy had hops for me to sniff!) The ale was clean and clear from the pour and had all the substance of a real beer.

Smell? Semi-sweet. Kinda cereal, like Special K but actually looking forward to consuming it.

Taste? Is where the gravy is. It starts off sweet but you get a bite of bitterness too and then it drops off. Clean finish.

Me gusta.

A: 3 finger white head with nice tight bubbles. Loads of carbonation. Crystal clear and straw colored. Laced nicely.

S: slight sweetness, slight earthiness. All mellow.

T: snappy and crisp. Really refreshing. Nice carbonation. Leans more towards hop bitterness. Not much sweet malt. Bitterness is earthy.

M: balance of sweet an dry finish. Carbed nicely.

O: great pilsner. Love the carbonation and crispness.

Pours golden with a white head that thins and stays. Some lacing sticks.

The smell is grainy with a mild floral/grassy hop touch.

The taste is clean - some sweetness with a touch of floral dryness in the crisp finish. Pretty smooth.

Not a bad easy-drinking "American Pilsner". A decent choice over the BMC lagers.
