didn't know what to expect - and was delighted by the perfect 'tug' between apricots and peppers. burnside should be quite proud of going out on a limb.... and succeeding. this also makes an interesting session brew at only 4.9 percent. taste dictates that it's a 'sipper', while low ABV means it can be an all-evening sipper.

22oz bottle poured at fridge temp (41 F) into a pair of pint glasses. No date that I can see. Most of the sediment left in the bottle.

Pours clear golden with a small head, slight slow carbonation. Little flakes floating lazily around. Smell is fruity and yeasty.

Taste is sweet, slightly spicy, I definitely get some indication of apricot. Mild and tasty, but some kind of astringent flavor which is not quite astringent -- I just don't know how to describe something a little bit off about this.

Mouthfeel is thick and slick. Overall, it's not bad. But I won't buy another.

Served on tap into a shaker glass.

A- Poured a very hazy and bright tangerine orange color with white soapy head that left no lace.

S- I am basically getting no aroma from this beer.

T- Quite a bit of fruity notes of apricot and citrus, almost creamsicle like in flavor with big sweet and spicy pepper notes, big mineral notes, and quite a bit of pepper heat that is just right for me.

M- Very dry, pretty big pepper warming, and prickly carbonation.

O- The level of spice from the peppers and sweetness from the fruity was exactly where I wanted it to be and I enjoyed this beer more than I expected although it is not really my type of beer. It is definitely worth a try.

bomber into a FW tulip 6/21/13 bottling date.

pours a golden color with an inch white head with a lot of bubbles. no lacing. smell is quite sweet with the apricots but you can tell there is a bit of heat with it too. taste starts out tart like a berliner then the apricots become very prevalent and it finishes with a slight heat the increases the more you drink the bottle. this is excellent and just what it promises! light bodied with light carbonation.

overall a superb chili/fruit mixed beer. wow a new favorite of mine.
