I drank a bottle of this on my recent trip to Las Vegas. I haven't seen this anywhere in Alberta, so I really wanted to try it. I made a bunch of notes on it, which is what the entire review is.
The aroma is very light with a faint maltiness. No real hop character.
The appearance is the standard pale yellow of your typical north american lager. Head is quick dissipating.
There isn't much flavour to this beer - it has an apparent maltiness with not much hoppiness to it at all, making it fairly sweet. It is very refreshing, however. The beer is highly carbonated and on the whole reminds me of mill st. Stock Ale.
Not bad overall, but nothing special.

Keg. Clear gold with a bubbly head. Aroma is bitter grain and metal. Flavor is okay. Some dry malt with the grassy flavors, but ends with the metallic bite. Good enough, but nothing special. I have come to the conclusion that micro-brewery/restaurants brew the golden/blonde ales only to satisfy those who drink macros and can't order one at their establishments.

Sort of a cloudy yellow orange with a single finger white head that stays a long time before melting to sticky lacing.
Aroma is light malt and corn or cornbread.
Taste is not like the aroma at all...sweet light malt followed quickly with lemon and orange hops and a little bit of alcohol taste.
Mouthfeel is thin but typical for style.
Aftertaste is citrus peel bitter and alcohol.
Dry and quenching.

Coronado Golden Ale
Appearance: Slightly hazy deep gold with a hint of an orange cast to it. Full, foamy white head. Great head retention and lacing.
Aroma: Golden malt with a touch of graininess and minor, non-descript hops.
Taste: Firm, grainy maltiness pushes against a solid bitterness with some spicy and grassy hop flavors in between. Very minor underlying fruitiness. Clean and well balanced, with spicy hops lingering in the dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and gently zesty across the palate.
Overall: Solidly made. Straightforward. You can tell it's an ale, but it's also very lager-like in its character... kind of like a cross between a Dortmunder export and a northern German pils, but with ale yeast fermented cool.

Poured from a 22oz. brown bomber with colorful label and no freshness date, a transparent yellow-gold with a finger of white floamy head and lots of carbonation.
Smells of green vegetable matter (perhaps the hops) and a grainy, raw earthy malt...no sweetness in the nose.
Tastes pretty much like it smells with a boat load of grainy, wet wheat and malt with next to no sweetness and plenty of bitterness to follow. It tastes a bit blunt and muted with non-balanced bitter and strange soapish, yet fizzy mouthfeel. Kinda makes me wonder how or why it's their most popular selling beer...perhaps it's better on tap?
One was more than enough for me, you know the rest...average at best.

Poured from a 335ml bottle into a glass the result was a thin head and a yellow slightly cloudy appearance, i'd describe the aroma as average.
The beer was a nice smooth drink with a bubbly mouthfeel, but nothing exceptional, i'd drink it again but wouldn't make a special effort. ABV is 5.4%

Pours a mildly hazy golden colored ale with a massive and persistent white head.
Smell is grain and malt and a bit metallic can't smell hops. This smells like a cream ale.
Taste is mild, sweet and fruity. Tasty ale very malty with a bit of fruit and a solid bitter finish. Malt level might be too much for some.
Mouthfeel is good, but the carbonation level seems very high.
Tasty undemanding brew here. Might be a bit sweet for some but I like it.

On tap at the Coronado Brew Pub.
Poured a medium and clear orange color with a smaller white head. Aromas of, well I had a hard time picking anything out. Tastes of some graininess and citrus. On the softer and subtle side all the way around.

A: Thick golden color. Seems fairly solid and appealing. Thick lacing happening as it settles.
S: Smell is very light and almost non-existent to me. The scent I am getting is nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to write home about.
T: Pretty decent. No negatives to really speak of but nothing too impressive either. Half and half 50/50 rating.
M: Good. Light in the mouth and not demanding of the taste buds.
D: Sipping this beer is a bit more appealing than taking mouthfuls at a time. Drinkability is about average.
Overall: I like this beer but it's nothing too special or something that I would pick over many others. Still, a decent brew!

On-tap at 5 Points
A: The pour is a slightly hazy light gold/yellow color with a big white head on it.
S: The nose is just incredibly light, like I've come to expect from all "golden" ales. Slightly adjunct in nature, perhaps some corn, and sweet grain.
T: Like the nose, very "meh" flavor. Bland and uninteresting with some grain sweetness and just a light bitterness.
M: The body is very light with an above average level of carbonation (certainly a fizzy yellow beer).
D: Another slamming beer. Easy to drink because it doesn't taste like much at all, but not something that I find enjoyable.
