Coronado Brewed & Bottled version. A Rye IPA collaboration with Bear Republic. The pungent and layered blend of Ella, El Dorado, Equinox, and Azacca dry hops coupled with a whirlpool addition of Buddha’s Hand creates an aromatic explosion, ending with a spicy malt caramel backbone.

I'm a sucker for rye beers, but I didn't really pick up much rye in this one. I was drinking multiple beers on a flight at a brewpub, so perhaps I need to try this again.

Picked up a bomber from TW Arrowhead in early April for $7.49. Received at TW 3-22-16, no bottling date. Refrigerated since purchase.
Beer poured amber with a nice white head that is leaving lacing.
Nose has faint hints of citrus.
Taste initially was caramel malt forward with a hint of citrus with a rye spice accent. Subsequent sips bring a vegetal finish on the back of the palate. Some sips are pretty good but then other sips give that vegy finish.
Feel is pretty good, somewhat lively and smooth.
Overall definitely not a great beer given my reaction to the hop combo.
