On draft at Stone
Appearance is dark and opaque amber-to-brown hue, thin off-white head dissipates, watery lacing
Smell is dominated by syrupy sweet fruits, most notably pears, touches of honey, raisins, and floral/grassy hops
Taste is surprisingly full of raisins and figs, some molasses and brown sugar, pears and light fruits enter midway with some apples and spices, finishes dry and fruity
Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied, thick and chewy texture, adequate carbonation
Drinkability is moderate, this is a big thick beer with great fruit flavors, bordering on a belgian style ale, the alcohol is present but not overhwhelming, nice balance, there is a slight disconnect between the aroma and taste but this is still a very good beer, if not hard to categorize!

The bartender called this an Amber, but it looks more like a Hef, and tastes more like a Belgian. It uses local avocado honey. Once again a $5 growler fill on sundays at CBC, freakin awesome.
A- Murky brown with the appearance of ice tea. There is a small white head that doesn't hang around very long.
S- Light banana, yeasty aroma, like a weaker belgian.
T- Bananas, malty-yeasty. Tastes Belgian-ish, Ending with a slight honey sweetness that lastes.
M- Slight carbonation, medium bodied.
D- I like Belgian beers. I think that the sweetness would get to me after a while. A good brew at a great price.
