Minimal lacing and pours to an almost dreamsicle like in color. Non-transparent, medium head with tints of orange hue

Sweet, light orange, sugar-citrus, peachy

WOW!! A light delicious mouth-feel of dancing flavors from orange to wheat, bananas, yeast and citrus It’s so light and refreshing and has a myriad of delicious notes weaving through the glass. Certainly wasn't expecting it, I'm usually not a fan of this style of beer but I'm really glad I got it.

Pale gold color with a sudsy top, held short from an overpour. 3.5

Wheat malts, big coriander notes, sliced orange, and grassy hops. 4.0

Lovely hoppy pale whaet with big coriander and peppercorn notes. Very floral and spicy. Wheat malts flow beneath orange peel sweetness with some delightful smacks of tartness. Bitter finish. Great overall profile; imbalanced in the best possible way. 4.0

Velvety smooth with a fierce carb crunch. Biting on the palate, yet silky on the tongue. This wheat beer has unreal body. Kickass feel. 4.5

Coronado, with the slam dunk! Top 5 APW for me. Great summer brewski. 4.0

12oz bottle into a regular kitchen glass, nice looking bottle art.

A- Orange avenue is not orange, it's a hazy yellow urine color with some even lighter spots when up towards light. A nice finger sized white foam sprung up and left a cap. Loose spider web lacing.

S- Smells like a wit to me, a nice blast of wheat along with the usual spices and some orange peel to go with it. As this warms it really comes into it's own and blossoms.

T- A good tasting wit, they are kind of all the same to me, but i know what i like, and i like this. Coriander comes up along with some faint wheat and a orange squeeze, under that a nice sweet malt base. The orange is very much used well and it shows.

M- No sense of bitterness here, OA is a smooth ride with a malt driven and lightly spiced aftertaste. Light bodied, pleasant carb and refreshing as hell. Overall a well balanced beer that leaves you wanting more.

D- Can I get another?

First tried this beer on tap at the Coronado Brewery in San Diego and was instantly impressed. Sitting at home on a late summer evening in the UK seemed like a good time to crack open a bottle and savour this good summer beer.

A: Pale honey gold with short white head. Left some lacing on the glass after the head disappeared.

S: Smells like summer and San Diego. A hint of orange and some malt aroma.

T: Not too bitter, definitely not too sweet. The orange blossom/zest definitely comes through and makes this a great summer beer. Hoppy enough to appeal to me but not too hoppy to deter my boyfriend.

M: Good amount of carbonation but not too much. Very smooth yet refreshing.

D: Very easy to drink. Great for sitting outside in the warm summer sun. Wish I had a pitcher or two to share this evening.

look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Light gold, cloudy, nice head, nice carb
Smell: Prominent zesty odors, smells fresh and clean
Taste: Nice orange taste upfront and through the finish
Mouthfeel: Nicely carbonated, clean and refreshing with slight lingering of zest
Drinkability: Too light to be a wit more like an unfiltered lager. Overall a nice beer

Appearance: 1/3 inch head, high carbonation, orange-yellow in color, hazy

Smell: coriander, orange, and peach

Taste: wheat, coriander, orange, and peach

Mouthfeel: light body, sweet, medium carbonation

Overall: I get more peach than orange, but this is a nice summer time brew. One of the better beers I have had from the brewery to date. I will get this again.

Cloudy, dark gold color. Spots for lace. Small but lasting head.

Sweet orange blossom smell. Light malt in the background.

The flavor is similar to a creamsicle with a neutral ice cream and a candied orange flavor. Full bodied and lowly carbonated. Short aftertaste.

A - Clear honey, stark white cotton head. Reduces to hardly a ring.

S - Bitter hops and mild orange.

T - Light backdrop of malt, orange peel and bittering hops. Finish has a not altogether pleasant twang.

M - Tries to be richer at first, but the bottom drops out. Good carbonation, a little unbalanced.

D - Easy enough to drink for sure!

Poured in a pint glass. Thin, white head. Clear, golden colored body.

Smell had a mild maltiness and a nice hint of sweet orange. No real hop presence unless hops were of a sublte orange-y type.

Taste had a good orange presence that was a bit on the sweet side. Very faint bitterness in the finish. Slightly caramely. Nice balance of flavors although the flavors are very mild. Hints of honey, wheat and coriander.

Mouthfeel had a light body, good carbonation and a clean finish.

Drinkability was good. Nice and light, mellow flavors with a good balance.

Overall it was a fairly tasty brew. All flavors were mild making it an easy to drink beer that could be nice on a warm summer day.
