Coronado makes it to MA which means more 12oz bottles for me to review.

A- Poured into a tumbler with a hazy, yeast clouded golden light orange body. A small white cap forms that has a fizzy, somewhat creamy texture. Head retention is decent as the foam dies down to a small ring fairly quickly. Several patches of lace and a few small rings.

S- Not a whole lot of strength here, I find myself searching for the aroma in a style that usually smacks you in the face. Moderate amounts of citrus and orange peel come to mind with a bit of yeast spiciness beyond that.

T- Spiciness comes to life here as it didn't really hit me that much in the aroma. White peppercorn, coriander and even a bit of cardamom hit the palate with the aforementioned orange citrus zest feel. Rustic wheat bread, medium sweetness, herbal qualities, honey and earthiness all come to mind beyond the spice and citrus.

MF- Light bodied with a crisp, high-end carbonation; refreshing feel. Texture is fizzy with a slight silky creaminess. It all finishes off with a zesty bitterness lingering on the palate.

Something about the whole experience feels thin to me. The flavor doesn't round it to be all that satisfying to me and is a bit underwhelming. The added spices also throw the balance a little too far in that direction. Has that flavored soda feel for some reason. (1,346 characters)

Pours a nice golden-orange color with a two-finger head that quickly fades. Looks pretty bubbly.
The aroma is primarily orange and coriander and a bit of white bread.
Tastes a bit like a sweetened orange juice with a hint of lingering orange pith bittering.
Mouthfeel is fairly thin and bubbly.
A decent summer beer. (316 characters)

This was interesting.

Pours similar to the Coronado Orange Ave, but a little lighter in color, when put to the light. This is a very similar brew. Both are pale body, light and citrus backed. Both have the orange taste lingering in the body, however... this one has a sweetness that the regular Orange Ave doesn't have. Which makes this slightly different to the palate.

This is a good representation of the Witbier. (418 characters)

Had at Margarita's in Branford on 8/1. Pours a little clearer than your typical wit, decent head though. Very light aroma here, spices barely detectable. Faint flavor of sweet citrus and a delicate malt background. Subdued. Light body makes it refreshing and easy to drink. Not really true to style but nothing offensive. An OK beer. (333 characters)

Pours a pale filtered wheat, bright fluffy white head. Aroma has orange peel hints of honey and spices with coriander and chammomile. Flavor semi sweet spicy flavor with honey and orange peel in the background of this witbier. Mouthfeel is dry semi sweet with a light to medium bodied spices really coat the palate, drinkable for sure especially in warmer weather. (364 characters)
