I had this on-tap in a taster glass at the brewery.
Appearance: light golden hue with a clear body with a thin layer of white foam and a nice lace left on the glass.
Smell: quite fruity aroma, with a little bit of toasty malt underneath. It really works for me.
Taste: a little toasty with a light but fruity hop character. Kind of like a very nice blonde ale, almost. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a very nice creaminess for the style. I dig it.
Overall: a very decent pale ale. I really like the aroma, and the flavor is maybe not stellar but definitely serviceable. A good drinkin’ beer.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, bright, clear yellow color with 1 inch of white head that very good retention and lacing. The beer looked very much like aLlager (in fact, I had a Kolsch after this and the 2 beers looked almost the same).
The aroma was mostly nice grains that went across the nose smoothly and easily. The was a sharp, but not overpowering, hop presence in the background. The flavors were good, but again this beer seemed more like a Lager than an Ale. The good grains came across nicely and the sharp hops were crisp.
The body was also Lager-like, crisp and light across the tongue. Drinkability was very good, the beer went down easily enough. Overall, a nice enough brew but don't approach it like a normal Pale. As I said, this beer and the Kolsch I had next were almost the same beer. Worth a shot if you see it.
