A: Pours a hazy bright yellow, looking like a hay field. Provides a nice 2 finger foam head with superb retention. There is a thick layer of lacing as well.

S: Really light on the nose. There is some lemon zest, wet hay and yeast.

T: Starts off with s yeasty wet hay taste that lasts throughout the tasting. In the middle there is some lemon zest undertones that come out. The lemon is much more prevelant on the back end.

M: A light to medium bodied beer. Leaves a slightly bitter taste on the palate.

O: Overall this is a good Saison. The wet hay taste is not overdone which makes this, at least for me, easier to drink.

A- Straw colored, cloudy with a moderate amount of head.

S- Belgian yeasty smell, small amount of citrus/grassy notes.

T- Belgian taste, earthy hop aftertaste with a small irony note. Not overwhelming in the least, a pretty light Saison in my opinion.

M- Light carbonation, clean refreshing aftertaste.

O- A solid Saison, not very complex but for the style a pretty good representation. A good summer beer that I would have again.

Pours a hazy yellow color that is between a straw and a gold color with a ring of a head which gives way to some lace and a skim head. The aroma is of the saison funk along with a citrus aroma and a slight earthy hop smell at the end. The taste starts off white a lemony citrus flavor which gives way to an earthy hop. A hint of lemongrass is also found along the end. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a slightly lower carbonation. Overall a very drinkable beer, very smooth, the aroma draws you in and the taste keeps you interested.

I had both versions of this, the sour and the regular. Gotta say that I loved both but I preferred the regular saison. Nice clean taste, no real aftertaste, incredibly smooth. I haven't had too many of this style, but I this one is great. The alcohol is around 5.8% but it is Very easy to get down, seems to be lower abv when it goes down.

Will fill this one up again! Hopefully a bar will carry this sometime soon.
