Randomly was given a can of this by the bro-in-law of one of the brewers/owners of this brewery. Was happy to have it as it's not likely they'll be distributing in Nashville anytime soon. Poured from a cool looking purple and gold 12 oz. can into NB globe glass.
Pale yellow in color with a nice thick bubbly head. Pours clear with pretty nice retention; looks good. Smells of bready, husky malts, almost lager-like. A slight sweet essence with subtle hints of fruit, unripe strawberries maybe. Tastes nice, pretty malty but also some noticeable hop bitterness in there as well. Flavors of saltine crackers, sour dough bread, corn. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is thin and bubbly, refreshing, not too heavy. Overall I'm glad to have had the opportunity to sample this ale. Good hot weather beers are few and far between but this one makes the cut for me.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint.
A: Golden hue. Pours a 1 finger, tight, bubbly, white head. Settles pretty quickly. No real lacing.
S: Dry hay, butter, wheat flour, and paper.
T: Sourdough bread and some indistinct (and I'm guessing unplanned) citrus.
M: Has a heavily carbonated feel, despite little carbonation... like soda water. Light body, crisp and refreshing character.
Atmosphere is okay. Nice bubbly head, little carbonation, and no real lacing. Buttery, grassy, and card-boardy nose. Pungent bread, and some weird citrus tone. Light and crisp session brew. Overall, this is a decent quaff.
