It poured a clear, red-tinted, light brown color. Had a finger of tan-tinted white head that was quick to dissipate into a lasting thin crown with no lacing.

Toffee malts and creamy whiskey aroma, with slight vanilla and cherry notes, dominate the nose. There's a hint of fig and prune as well.

The barrel is up front in the taste, again with some clear vanilla. Toffee, prune, raisin, fig figure into the malts. There's some slight hop bitterness to keep it from being too sweet, and some alcohol burn in the finish.

It's medium bodied with a somewhat creamy, somewhat sticky feel cut by solid carbonation.

My first one from Black Tooth and it's delicious overall.

Pours a murky brown with a small but persistent head of foam.

The smell has whisky notes but more of a malty grainy character. Semi sweet, and boozy.

Bourbon, caramel malt, vanilla, chocolate/toffee. Incredibly rich and diverse. Malt rules in long run; what I hope for in the style.

Medium body medium carbonation.

This, I reckon, could and I say could turn out to be very similar to an English Old Ale/Barleywine with some age on it. Remember, you read it here first.
