Look: Very dark copper pour w/a thin, tan head that dissipates quickly
Smell: Hops and orange are prominent in the smell, but not much eles; certainly not chocolate.
Taste: Ah... there's the chocolate. Not heavily-chocolate, as with a chocolate stout, but definitely present. The orange blends nicely with the hops as well.
Feel: About what I'd expect from an IPA, maybe a just a touch creamier, although that could just be the chocolate taste fooling me.
Overall: This is another very good beer from Thomas Creek. Despite the chocolate, it's not a dessert beer, but definitely not one you'd want to session due to the ABV.

I really like other Thomas Creek brews and I'm not a regular IPA drinker, so keep that in mind. Unable to pick up any chocolate or orange taste, it was all hops, no balance.

First, I'm not an IPA drinker. So, take it for what it's worth. When I read the name, I expected a dessert beer. The chocolate and orange are barely noticeable, but do help smooth out the hop. Pretty solid beer, good ABV. I suppose a Hop Head would enjoy it.

Good in theory ... This thing poured all head. Taste was like a black ipa but also a bit sour. Did not detect significant chocolate or orange notes. Despite that the flavor was decent with some hoppiness and general citrus. May have had an older bottle.
