Came to me in a big 22oz mug at Stone Ridge Tavern in Asheville.

Appearance was typical amber with a bright red body and off-white head. Aroma was mild grains. Taste was really nice with a very mild and almost sweet flavor that was very refreshing and went very well with food. I had no problem polishing off the 22oz and could have had another. It's not an earth-shattering beer, but it's highly drinkable and very tasty.

On tap at the Mellow Mushrrom this weekend, had not had it before so I had to give it a try. Poured a nice deep amber with a smallish white head that faded leaving a decent layer of thin lace that left itself rather quickly. Smell was light, lots of grain with a bit of an underlying almost pear like aroma. Taste was also crisp, and refreshing, not watered down which was a plus, lots of subtle flavors underlying the initial malt assualt. Overall this was a very decent brew and a nice fine example of French broades creativity. Will definalty try this very sessionable brew again one day.
