It took a minute to find this place. I drove right past it with GPS navigation turned on. The signage isn't good and it is sandwiched between some other stores. I was able to park in the street.
This is a small, unassuming place with some great beers. I happened to be here during their 1-year anniversary week and so got to try some speciality brews. Most noteworthy was the Cherry Infused Wee Heavy.
I had the veggie burger and salad for dinner. The burger was fine but could have had a bit more flavor and crispness. The salad and dressing were good.
The layout is basically one fairly large room with the bar in the center and tables around the walls.
The location is pretty convenient to the Western suburbs and the airport is nearby.
It's a nice spot although I like their brew pub downtown more.

Visited for dinner and brews on Friday August 30. The outdoor streetside seating looked very appealing but I headed inside to get a better view of the taps, chalkboards, clientale, etc. They have two front garage doors that were open to the street anyway, so it still felt like being somewhat outside. The place was pretty full but no waiting list. The crowd seemed to be pretty local - groups of friends, families, young couples, etc.
I had two flights of four each - one with regular beers (all of which were great including Masala Mama, etc) and one with seasonals (a bit dissapointing with a Kolsch, an Amber, etc). But overall the beer quality was excellent and the food and service were good as well. This is a nice neighborhood bar/restaurant but if you're visiting the Twin Cities for beer purposes I'd recommend skipping this and going to the main Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery instead.

I like this place, I come here about every other week. I like seeing the rotation of guest beers on tap, and there's plenty of standards by which to educate myself. The food is fancier than bar food: in particular I like Pete's Cabin Burger, mixed with wild rice and mushrooms, and when I ask for mayo on the side (for my fries), it's a seasoned variety that's even more delightful.
One of the bartenders in particular is exceptionally attentive and affable without being pushy. Clearly he knows his beer, as does the other bartender I've seen, but the one distinguishes himself as endeavoring to become a host. I appreciate that.
I don't like holding a venue responsible for its constituency, but I don't enjoy the constituency here. The locals are fine, the families that come in and the people settling down for conversation, but occasionally there's a hipster influx that, initially, made me question whether I was in the right place. Regardless, it's easy to block everyone else out and focus on my food and beer.
I don't think it's awesome they tack on a $2 fee for a gluten-free bun for the burgers, but my wife appreciates the option and they chose a good brand to go with, Udi's.
