Town Hall Tap is a very neat little establishment. The dimly-lit building is exactly the atmosphere I look for in a beer bar. The walls are clad with beer-related items, and makes for an old-school feel. One of it's advantages is the location. Unlike the original establishment, parking is free and easy to find.
Aside from just Town Hall Brewery offerings, there is usually at least one cask offering and a good selection of guest taps and bottles. The menu isn't huge, but there are many unique appetizers, along with burgers and sandwiches, all reasonably priced. The food alone is better than the typical bar norm, and the fries are out of this world!
Having gone there on a rainy Monday afternoon, it wasn't very crowded and the service was quick and quite good. The staff is friendly, and make the patrons feel welcome upon entering. For those that haven't been here, I recommend checking it out. I know I'll be stopping in whenever I'm in the area.

A busy place with a casual open feel when the big front doors are open. Fancy cocktails, ciders, lots of beers and of course Town Hall beers, which are excellent. Great food, good prices, great vibe, clean and very friendly employees & staff. Street parking. Patio out back, bar is med-small with high chairs, quite a few tables out front (weather permitting). Extremely good quality overall. I hadn't been there in a few years and it's fantastic.

A classical beer cafe appeal that is welcoming and low lit in a pleasant way. About half of the menu is house beer and the other guest from around the area, but they have multiple cask ales which is wonderful! Every beer I had was wonderful, all old world styles which is a wonderful find these days. Food was slightly elevated pub food. Service was attentive, accommodating, and friendly. This is a great stop for late night snacks and ales

Visited on a recent work trip to Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
Tried the following:
Odell Cutthroat Porter (draft)
Toppling Goliath King Sue (draft)
The King Sue was the beer of the trip for me, while the Cutthroat Porter was just okay. Tap selection was one of the better lineups I came across in Minneapolis. Also had some Pork Naan Tacos to eat; they were fantastic. Classic pub atmosphere with some natural light coming in by the bar. Service was competent as drinks and food arrived quickly and the waitress chatted me up for a bit. My overall experience was stellar, and I would probably come back.

One of my local Taverns. I have loved the food every time I have come here. Great especially in the summer when you can sit outside, or as many have pointed out, they open the garage doors and the inside feels a bit like being outside.
I like the beer selection. Regular and seasonal selections. I was surprised how familiar their 1800 tasted to me--then I remembered I brewed the clone kit from N.B.
Parking can be a little hard to find. be prepared to walk about a block.

This is a wonderful neighborhood place that sells beer from the Town Hall microbrewery. Its a very casual, friendly vibe. They feature 8 of their beers, 4 nitro taps, 4 ciders, 3 cask beers, 8 guest casks, and 10 bottled beers. They serve a wide variety of bar foods - sandwiches and things deep fried. You go here for the beer - the food is a little better at their brewery downtown and the downtown location has more outdoor seating but this is still very nice.

Visited on a Sunday night. Slow at 9:30. Looked just like regulars in the place. Sat at the bar.
Vibe - A townie bar if it wasn't known all over the US by BAs. Dark and worn inside. The place has windows and a garage door that open up the entire bar to the street/sidewalk and a small outdoor patio. This time of year it was wide open and inviting. Patio closes early though during the week – did not get to sit outside :-( Overall a great old fashion bar in an old fashion town but with a new twist. 4.25
Service - Friendly. Bartender was appropriately distant. 4
Selection - Good house beers and a good selection of guest beers. 4
Quality - Different glasses, temperature was good, three beer engines. 4.5
Food – I ate the Heidelberg burger. It was great! Fries were crispy - 4.25
Price - 20oz house beers for $5.50 fantastic compared to DC and NY. Two big beers and a burger and fries for about $20 (excluding tip) was excellent. - $
