Drank in Siem Reap. Cambodia

A - Pours a pretty nice Golden colour. Not much head.

S - Not much to speak of. Small grains.

T - Wow quite a bit of flavour here. The grainy malts really come.through. No Hop profile.though.

M - Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

O - A very nice change from the normal offerings in Cambodia. It will definitely quench your thirst.

Very clean, crisp, and drinkable. Had a bready maltiness, and clean yeast. A touch more hoppier than a standard Asian swill.

A clear head and shoulders above other tropical lagers in the region. Not a bad beer at all--definitely my go-to beer in Cambodia, but I would enjoy this in any country.

Poured from a 33cL bottle into a chilled mug. At New Leaf Book café.

Vigorous head with decent retention. Clear yellow. The nose is clean and devoid of any skunky or sulfuric unpleasantness. Not even sweet grain, but floral hops and clean yeast. Impressive. The flavor is quite sweet, with a hint of soft fruit. Wet, not crisp mouthfeel. A notch above most other Cambodian beers I've tasted (which makes sense, being brewed for expats).

Very glad to see this added at BA, I drank this everywhere I could find it around Phnom Penh when traveling through SE Asia in 2011. All Kingdom beers I found were within a week of date code.
Beers in this region are almost entirely light-bodied lagers meant for fast quaffing in the blazing heat and humidity. All ratings are based on my understanding of the style here.
From notes:

A - very pale gold, great head retention

S - virtually no smell, maybe a hint of grass

T - extremely clean & crisp/ gains a slight pale malt sweetness like buttery saltines as it warms. some won't like this, I loved it

MF - very light w/ active carbonation

O - Loved it, drank as much as I could get my mitts on. One of the best of 20+ different light lager-style beers I found throughout SE Asia.
