Great to have a 9% with fruit. A little bitter, but excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this if you can get it.

Overall a pretty decent IPA, hops linger a little too long. Reminds me of peak IPA madness a few years back, where everyone was trying to highlight the unique nature of this style. Feels like a beer that would have been right at home 10 yrs ago, but now feels generic and overwhelming (especially if you are one of those people that decries how 85% of all beers are IPAs). If you love IPAs skip this and stay with your preferred brewery. There is nothing new to this beer that you probably have not tried before. If you never really got into IPAs, also skip. Try something with more character like Blind Pig.

Poured into pint glass from can. Thin head, modest nose...a bit of citrus, not too piney. Bitter of the hops on back of my tongue, finishes crisp. Citrus hints but I can't place it. Tastes and feels lighter than 9+ abv I-IPA...which is good. Alcohol there but not in your face.

Hands down my new favorite imperial IPA. This IPA has an incredibly smooth and slightly malty front which will have you instantly recognizing it's high notes of papaya and mango. Going down it has just enough of a hoppy bite to compliment the beer. Overall, this is one of my new mandatory fridge-stock beers. Show me a better beer for the price you'll find these at. Figueroa, yall did a mighty good job here.
