A- poured gingerly into a snifter. clear golden with very little head.
S- orange, lemony, very floral and piney
T- sticky hops, pine, mint, orange marmalade, not much of a malt profile
M- thin body with moderate carbonation. Resinous hops coat the palate. It's almost numbing.
O- underwhelming. It lives up to the name very dank and resinous but lacks in aroma and more complex flavors.

The newly released, bottled, Project Dank. Comes in a 22 oz. bomber and poured into a nonic pint glass from Marble Brewery. Albuquerque marriage right thurr.
A- Pours a beautiful golden and tan with a finger and a half thick head. Lots of stick lace remains on the glass and atop the liquid.
S- Delicious. Dank is the word. Floral, spicy and resinous hops blast my nose. There's a tinge of sweet, vanilla-like malt. But let's get this straight, this is for hop heads.
T- Spicy, floral hops hit the tongue and have a bite to them. The sweet malt and vanilla notes pop up mid-palate. Then a blast of bitterness hits the tongue and lingers alongside some spice. Again, this beer is a hop head delight.
M- Lots of spice give the sensation as if I'm eating chile, but then the smooth, creaminess mid-palate provide a brief respite before the dry bitterness hits the end, and, combined with the spice again, heat up the mouth again. It's an interesting feeling, a heat that is not caused by the alcohol. The alcohol is nowhere to be found.
O- This beer is wonderful and incomparable. I've never had quite the same sensation from an IPA. But make no mistake, this is also enjoyable to drink. Hop heads rejoice.

tropical hops abound in this delicious ipa from la cumbre. cloudy yellow gold with clingy lace in the glass greet the eye. i love the aroma of this beer - huge southern hemisphere hop goodness (mango, guava, pink grapefruit). the citrus bit combined with he cleasing bitterness places this among the top ipas ive had the pleasure of tasting. while thete is a heaviet booziness to this 7.5 abv offering, its great for a glass or two. i would probqbly get into trouble knocking these beasts back because they drink smoohly.malt sweetness is more than balanced by hop bittering. fantastic brew that reminds us californians great ipa does not have to come from the golden state.
