Huge thanks to Chico1985 for bringing this back from NM for me. Reviewed at Rising Sun CG, Glacier NP, MT. Full notes taken to my phone.
A- Murky wheat and yeast hazed golden peach orange body. White cap rises to two fingers with a frothy fizzy texture and decent retention. Small ring leaves spotty lacing.
S- Mostly yeast fruits like banana and apple esters with some lemon zest citrus tones and spice. Certainly some wheaty bread hints.
T- Spiciness picks up here and becomes more of a presence to balance the banana esters and lemon citrus. Notes of clove, pepper, apple, wheat crust, coriander and cereal grains.
MF- Highly carbonted light end body but the bubbles go down fairly smooth thanks to a silky, creamy texture. Finishes with a light spicy bitter feel.
I just had a good American Hefe by New Glarus but this one is one of the best USA produced examples of the style. Great balance of yeast slice, fruity esters and grains to produce a very smooth quaffable brew.

I love how sexy this beer looks in it's glass. Presentation wise it's creamy, and a distinct banana smell is present. I truly enjoy sweeter beer and the Heffen is easy to have a couple of without feeling to sticky sweet. It's a great hot summer day beer.
