Massive thanks to GHB for the surprise growler! You're the epitome of epicness.

A: clear, pale, soft orange color. White head, lots of spongy lace.

S: fruity, papaya, ginger, tropical, pine resin.

T: tropical fruits, mango, more piny bits, orange, pineapple. Bitterness is mild; they definitely focused on taste and aroma on the hopping.

M: good carbonation, slick and oily, lighter side of medium in body.

O: what can I say? La Cumbre are hop wizards, and this just keeps driving it home!

Poured from a 32 oz growler into 12 Pilsner glass, less than half a finger of dense white head.
Lively carbonation, lots of tiny bubbles: impressive for a 3 week old growler pour. Props to BeerandBoards for a first rate box!

Aroma is pleasantly tropical, pineapples are standing out, quite juicy smelling with an herbal hint in there, pine needles.

Taste is quite juicy as well, pineapple and grapefruit are the standouts, nice malt backdrop to balance and spotlight the hops. Carbonation is impressive, flavors are tight and crisp.

Mouthfeel is slightly on the thin side with the carbonation moving things along briskly. Definitely an easy beer to drink as there is only 2 ounces left in the glass and the growler is crushed.

Overall, an impressive IPA with a mouth watering nose and crisp flavors highlighted by a zippy hop selection. Project Dank: Irie SHOULD be available in cans just like the danky Eleveated IPA: I think they would have another winner on their hands.

Big thanks to GHB for sending a couple growlers.

This was apparently brewed with some unique varieties of hops that hadn't been previously used by any brewers in the US.

Appearance: Crystal clear pale golden body capped by a clinging one finger head.

Smell: Huge pineapple notes are most immediately apparent, though there's a lot going on here. Marijuana dankness is present behind the brighter citrus notes. Herbal and slightly grassy aromas pop out as it warms. Slight sweetness is noticeable and serves to highlight the fruity aspect of the aroma.

Palate: Citrus at the forefront, a bit pithy but mainly sweet juicy pineapple. Bit of grapefruit, too. Earthier herbal notes balance the citrus. The mouthfeel is just about flawless here, sturdy without lending much sweetness, with lingering but clean bitterness.

Overall: World class stuff here. More or less on par with the previous batch of PD, but with a very unique hop profile.
