12 oz can. Pours hazy copper amber with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet sugary nutty caramel malts with some alcohol and a little piney hop and cola.
The flavor is sweet nutty caramel / cola malt with resiny piney bitterness and some alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, sweet cola malt with some decent hops.

here is your classic colorado take on a west coast ipa. brassy shiny liquid, sticky, with an inch of white patchy airy head with fine staying power. dank oily nose, with a resinous pine complexion. smells and feels high altitude for some reason, mineral forward and rugged, hearty. the taste agrees, and its not coming from the malt i dont think, which appears to be simply pale ale malt, basic two row for what i can tell, not much else, maybe a touch of caramel for color, but i just taste the base grain. however the hops really flesh this out well. floral and pine families unite in a high alpha bomb, especially in the finish, which balances sappy with bitter, it feels like early spring seasonally, and drinks pretty easy for its well hidden strength. medium bodied and carbonated expertly, this beer stands as a huge step forward for pateros creek brewing, a couple of really nice guys who are figuring it out quick. try this if you see it around, its very well done.

A - Poured a clear, golden amber color with a one-finger, off-white head of foam. It left sticky trails of lace on the glass.
S - Good pine aroma with hints of citrus and toasted malt.
T - Good bitterness up front with pine and citrus. Nice light roasted malt with some caramel sweetness.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale. Dry finish.
O - This is pretty tasty. I'm glad my friends brought me this growler.
