A - Gold in color with a toffee colored thin head that leaves some minimal lacing.

S - Has a nice caramel malt aroma with a fruity & citrusy aroma. Also, once it warmed it had a hint of cocoa aroma.

T - Sweet caramel malt flavor with a touch of grapefruit & finishes with a nice hop spicyness.

M - Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

O - A nice beer. I like the combination of the belgian and the IPA. It combines the fruity aromas and flavors of a typical belgian with the hoppy flavors of an IPA.

Picked up a can of this when visiting the brewery back in '14. Came in with an appearance more akin to some of the older orange hued double ipas from the last decade. 1/2" off white head. Discernable hop quality to it along with a strong yeast profile. I mean, for belgian ipas, we're already showing more promise than your average one.

Taste drops a mixture of citrus hop flavor and pungent yeast flavors. Relatively dry, just a big phenolic blast. As a belgian ipa its good. Won't make me stop drinking good American ipas though. Pretty sizeable bready dough malt component to it without getting overly thick or heavy. Its definitely one of the more unique ipas I've had. Wasn't too heavy on the clove, just a big phenolic yeast presence and orange rind bitterness.

Appearance: hazy, orange-gold color; thick pillowy white head

Aroma: nice citrus notes; hops; caramel; a little bready

Taste: I like this quite a bit; starts citrusy; moves into a pretty decent grain bill; hits the hops on the finish with some big yeast/bread flavors; slight citrus

Mouthfeel: medium bodied; kind of clingy; a little bright

Overall Impression: I like this quite a bit, a cool Belgian IPA; the big bread and yeast flavors make it really interesting, especially with the high citrus and decent hop bite; a cool beer, but certainly not a classic IPA and not a hop bomb

Nice balance among the hops and the earthy/funk from the yeast and the malt backbone. I'll look for this one again.

A: A muted medium amber in color with a light tan head which turns into a rocky pock marked surface.

S: Grapefruit and lemon peel up front, followed by a lovely Belgian fruitiness, and clove in the finish.

T: Lemon peel, and grapefruit up front, then some lovely Belgian notes.. stone fruit, clove, and a touch of bread. Finish is lemon peel, and a touch of earthiness.

M:Medium, but the effervescent carbonation makes it feel lighter. A fairly long bitter cling on this.

O: Overall really interesting, and really enjoyable.

solid IPA. not a go to though.
Look: deep amber color with maybe some orange. It was pretty clear.
smell: wheatey smell with a solid hop note. Not super aromatic but has some spiciness.
Taste: not as much flavor as i was expecting. Not very bitter either. some subtle fruit notes.
