Type: 16 oz can
From: Plum Market in Ann Arbor
Appearance: pours a little motor oilish. dark brown almost black but with a hint of red. a small tan head that fades quickly and leaves nothing behind. good looking big beer
Smell: smoky malts, a touch of fruit.
Taste: Sour, cherries, slight coffee/roasted malts, bitter chocolate. very complex, very well balanced.
Mouthfeel: slightly bitter, slightly creamy, not as heavy as expected
Overall: This is an interesting beer. but i really like it. I like the bitterness being balanced by the sour, its an interesting take and turns out well. really glad i stumbled on this one. Loving Vivant and hope they keep up their interesting and unique Belgian beers. Definitely try some if you can find it
Serving type: can
