Dippity Do is an American-style brown ale that is as fun to drink as it is to say. Hopped like a pale ale, medium-bodied and extremely satisfying, this beer has a beautiful rich brown color with slight caramel and roasty undertones. Dippity Do will pair well with many foods, especially red meat or anything fresh off the grill.

If you are a fan of pale ales, then we are certain that you will become a fan of Dippity Do!

She pours a dark brown/close to black color and leaves the same colored body with a one finger foamy white head that dies at a nice pace and leaves some nice lacing sticking cleanly around the sides of the glass. The smell has some roasty coffee forward Brown Ale-ness that pulls out some toast and toffee, faint bitter hops try to come through but maintain a nice background. The taste takes the previous flavors and adds a nice dark fruitiness to it, also there seems to be an element of Coca Cola coming in. There is a long dark sweet fruity Coca-Cola like aftertaste and a dry sweet sticky finish. On the palate, she sits about a medium on the body with a decent sessionable quality to it. Carbonation runs pretty smooth and coats the tongue and mouth nicely. Overall, roasty and malty like a Brown ale that is normal for its style, but the hops that are said to be in are extremely subdued.

Bottled 6-23-2016 pored into a pint glass. Darker than normal Brown with huge head. This is definitely a bad bottle it is over carbonated. Still got some great spice smells coming from the beer. Good some good strong brown ale taste from it but hard to get past over carbonation. I am sure this is probably a very good brown as this is one of my favorite New Hampshire breweries. Will have to try again.

22oz bomber: This one pours a cloudy brown color. The head was huge. It started out at 3/4 of the glass. Looked more like a root beer float. The nose was lighter. Toasted malts and a slight nuttiness. A faint citrus hop nose. The taste is good. Toasted malts, slight nuttiness. Faint bitterness. A decent enough brown.

Must have had a flawed bottle based on the other ratings. Beer poured with an overabundance of head that was larger bubbles which fell flat quickly. The nose was vinegar - nasty and acidic. The taste was much the same. Will try again in hopes that it was the bottling process as opposed to the beer.

Perhaps it the "hopped like a pale ale" aspect that really draws me into Dippity, but I’ve had this in bombers and keg, and it is perfect for one or session. Pours deep, dark brown with tan head. Smooth malt sweetness – just the right amount to balance the unusual-for-style hoppiness. Really tasty stuff.

A - Thick dark amber and took a vigorous pour to pull about two fingers of tan head. Good retention and lacing.

S - Very nutty, chocolate, and caramel.

T - Taste like it smells, but with smokiness, coffee, and a lot of chocolate.

M - Medium body with moderate/low carbonation. Slick and in no way sticky.

O - This was good. Very drinkable with nice flavors. I'm not in love with this, though I don't typically drink a lot of brown ales. I found it to be a bit watery.

Another one bought from Craft Beer Cellar in Nashua, NH and poured from a bomber into a standard glass.

A- Mahogany, almost porter-like. This stretches the definition of "brown ale" for sure. Small one-finger head that fades rather quickly but the lacing is great on this one (4)

S- Nice toasted malts, caramel ice cream, nice earthy/floral hops. (4)

T- I get more burnt flavors than sweet, definitely a bitter finish. Toast comes to mind, midnight dark chocolate, some black cherry is in there as well. Rather complex. (4.25)

M- Dry finish, somewhat thin, very brown-ale like. (3.75)

O- Great brew! It doesn't quite match up with Kelsen's Paradigm Brown though. The taste and aroma are great, but it's a beer with a slight identity crisis. What I mean by that is, it's not sure whether to be a porter, a brown ale, or a pale ale but rather a combination of all three. Not necessarily a bad thing mind you, but it has the roasted qualities or a porter on the nose, the toasted/biscuit-like qualities of a brown, and the hops of a pale ale. Good stuff though!
