Subtle Coffee Flavor, more of a milk stout. Easy drinking.

Growler picked up about a week ago and it held up well. Before visiting the brewery I wasn't a huge fan of theirs, but after trying all the stuff on tap I opened my eyes to them a bit more. Brought this one home happily.
Light fizzy head, little creamy but dark colored head, some light legs, pitch black.
Nose tons of lactose, coffee fresh brewed and light roasted beans, light chocolate syrup, bit of candy like syrup and chewy malt, and a nice toasted aroma.
Taste is more of the same, lactose, lots of milky coffee like an iced coffee, little coffee syrup and fresh roasted beans, little chocolate syrup, creamy and nice. Dry finish, little cocoa, more iced creamy coffee.
Mouth is creamy, decent carb, very creamy.
Overall awesome. Definition of milk stout with a nice coffee. I can't believe this has such a low rating so far, but probably since its more of a subtle beer that I bet most of the "hads" were at some festival and their taste buds were burnt out.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing..
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown hue with a thin quarter inch mocha head that fades to leave a thin creamy halo.
S - Aromas of lactose galore, hersey syrup galore, and coffee, black coffee haggle and very non sugary sweet.
T - Taste is lots of lactose, coffee cream, like an iced coffee with lots of sugar and cream. Very nice milky coffee notes.
M - Mouthfeel is silky creamy, smooth, solid.
O - Overall the numbers on this perplex me. No way is this a 3.5 beer, delicious
