Mad Crow Brewery Wild Card Ale is a smooth, medium bodied APA brewed with fresh whole hops. This amber ale has the nice hoppy character complimented by a creamy backbone with a crisp clean finish. Very refreshing and a nice session beer for the Summer.

Pours a dark amber/orange color with a decent light tan head that dissipates to a thin ring and leaves no lace behind.
Smell is a bit weak with notes of malt, citrus and yeast. Decent balance though I would prefer a bit more presence for the olfactory sense.
Taste is stronger with notes of malt, green grapes, hops and a noticeable alcohol bloom.
Medium + bodied with a faint effervescence. Balance is not as strong in the mouth. Warming and with a dry finish. You could attempt this as a session beer but at 5.8% ABV it might bite you. Overall a good beer.
