This was a nice beer from a kickass brewpub in Northern Ohio. The beer was quite dark in appearance with a nice creamy head. The flavor was bordering sweet but never really got there. It was quite creamy in appearance and flavor and somewhat milky. Apparently that's from the lactose sugars. The hops are there and almost too strong for this particular style. This is trying to be a Mackeson but it's not quite there. Good overall.

22oz bottle
Served in pint glass.

A - It is cola colored with two fingers of beige head perched on top.

S - Roasted malt with your typical coffee and chocolate.

T - Robust. I get some bitter chocolate. Plenty of roasted malt.

M - Medium to full.

D - I really like the robust flavor. The roasted malts and the bitterness are very good. I would absolutely purchase this beer again.
