This is a blackened ruby witha great off-white head that just doesn't give up. The reason behind that tenacity turns out to be that it's a bit overcarbonated. There's a great nuttiness in the flavor here that I'm seeing as chesnuts, but it could be the power of suggestion, and a little bit of roast. Tasty, but just a tad too gassy.

Dark mahogany/brown sugar colored. Off white small head rests atop but not for long. Little lacing. Again crystal clear in looks.

Nice nutty aromas but very laid back and not much else in the nose.

Very one sided and weak. A hint of malt with definite chestnut hints. Some hop is there but hardly detectable accept for on the bitter finish.

Mouth is thin and rustic. Not a winner compared to the others.

A 22 ounce bomber bottle poured into my nonic pint glass. Appears a clear, well, chestnut brown color with about a finger of light ecru foam. Nose and flavor are of raw nuts, roasted chestnuts, lightly toasted bread, caramel. Not much to speak of here. Thin bodied with decent carbonation. The price can't be beat though as this was under $3 for the bomber.
