$ 1.99/12 oz bottle at Vintage Estate.
Undated bottle at 40 degrees into snifter.
Aroma of conifers and hint of grapefruit.
Head large (5.5 cm), off white, creamy, rapidly diminishing to a broken 2 mm layer.
Lacing good – many islands of various size with various size bubbles.
Body medium orange, clear.
Flavor begins with piney goodness, which ends in a citrus astringency with a moderately long hang time. No alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, oily, lively carbonation.
This is a decent pale ale with a tendency toward an IPA. The alcohol is well hidden.
