Amber hued with a rich malty character from a blend of German malts with just a touch of German Tettnang hops for added complexity.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a pint glass
This beer pours copper colored with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves virtually no lacing.
Toast and toffee aroma with a bit of smokiness.
Toast and toffee flavor with just enough from the hops to keep it from being too sweet.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Solid beer

From the one can I've had this felt overcarbonated and kind of muddled the flavors. That being said it was decent and generally acceptable for the style just not my favorite. I might have this a couple more times but overall it's on the lower end of the style.

On tap at Cleveland Oktoberfest in Berea, OH.
This one pours with amber light golden darkness, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells a little bit sweet for the style, but with a decent hop character on the nose.
This feels a touch too sweet for the style, with caramel sweetness. There is some hop character that tamps the sweetness down a bit. It's still tasty, but not quite to style.
This is light bodied, fairly crisp, and very drinkable.
This isn't my favorite take on the style, but I still enjoyed it.

L: Opened the can to be greeted by a lively toffee foam. This one deserved to be poured into a glass...
S: Roasted malt through and through. Smells woody, you can imagine what the mash must have smelled like when boiled. You will miss the hops altogether if you can't pick out the grassy tone.
T: Flavorful. Sweet malts. Signature German taste.
F: Smooth and buttery, exactly how you want a German lager to taste like.
O: More malts and more flavor than other Octoberfests. Easy on the hops and approachable in general.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This fine little brew pours a
nice ruby tinged amber with a nice head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ting, thin film layer, and shows nice lacing. Nose
of toasted malt and breaded malts with subtle herbal notes.
Flavors lightly surpass the nose with a toasted malt backbone
that is balanced by peppery hops and subtle raisin notes with
hints of cherry and herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium
light body, medium light carbonation that supplies some
nice lift, and a balanced lightly sweet and subtly dry finish.
Overall,a SOLID brew from a solid brewery!
Cheers

Had this on 2019-09-08 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 12oz canned on 2019-08-20
A - Clear amber with a short light-tan head that drops quickly leaving almost no lace
S - Cinnamon raisin bread. Floral
T - Toasted raisin bread with not-very-sweet pear preserves, earthy spice with a touch of pepper. Good balancing bitterness. Dry finish.
M - Medium body and medium-high carbonation. Smooth at first, then crisp. Refreshing
O - A nice twist on the style. I'll have this again.

I got this off the single shelf from my local giant eagle. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had sweet malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with caramel malt mixed with roast corn highlights. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Pours a deeper, ruby-tinged brown. A tad sweeter than a lot of marzens, beefs up the caramel malt quotient, has a mild hop bitterness at the end which is a little acrid, okay but certainly better Octoberfests out there
