The Brew Kettle is located in a small shopping center with just a couple other stores. The front of the "Kettle" is small and looks to be disappointing based on the glowing reviews from this site.
Once inside the two doors, the pub space is much larger than the facade would have you believe. The space is long and narrow. There is a bar of decent length along one wall and booths along the other wall. There is also room for a few tables toward the back. There are a few televisions placed around the bar but they do not distract from the overall experience. After getting into a booth, the primary focus of the place starts to become clear. Brewerania is everywhere.
They have a total of 24 taps with about 6 of those being from the Ringneck Brewing Co. Guest taps included selections from Rogue, Founders, Barrelhouse, Stoudts, Stone, and Dogfish Head. Service is typical for a BBQ / bar establishment. Atmosphere is very casual and laid back. Even if service is a little slow, it is completely appropriate for the vibe of this place. The food is good if you go for the pork or something else along those lines. Looking at some of the sandwiches ordered by my party, I have to knock the food score down a point of two.
The back of the "Kettle" houses the BOP and a small desk with shirts, glasses and bombers. During my visit the BOP was quite busy. Of course, those people are working at brewing their own beer so I didn't mind standing around for a bit to let the crowd thin out. If I lived closer to the "Kettle" I would give the BOP a try. They carry a selection of bombers from the Ringneck Brewery for carry-out. I ended up with a Rye Ale, ESB, and the Big Woody Lager. I would recommend stopping by if in the Cleveland area.

Brew Kettle is a great place to have a beer. The only problem I have is that the place just isn't that great. It's small and generic and doesn't have a craft brewery feel to it. I would love to see them get out of the strip mall type space and build a nice, rich stand alone. Despite that, Brew Kettle is great. They have an excellent selection of crafts and you can brew your own beer in the back.

This is a great brewery to try. While my only criticism is it's small size (you'll be waiting a while on the weekends to get a table), it's really quite inexpensive given the excellent quality of the beer ($1.50 for a sample of the awesome White Rajah!). It's a casual place, with good (but not outstanding) barbeque, very helpful service, and a wine section where you can hang out (and also sample beers) while waiting for a table. Oh, and even though they have awesome Brew Kettle beers, they also have other great beers just so for those who feel like they need even more. Excellent brewery and restaurant!
