Hazy pale straw colour with a medium creamy white head. Poor head retention.

Lightly fruity. Slightly spicy. Mild witbier aromas. No melon. Still good.

Wonderful. Moderate watermelon flavour with soft wheat notes underneath it. Quite tasty. Very drinkable.

Really soft and creamy. Medium-light body with moderately high carbonation. Good.

Solid. Good fruit flavour and the underlying beer works well.

Pours a pale straw champagne colour, steady bead, again champagney. Head is white, foamy, decent. Looks decent hefeweizeny.

Smells spicy, slightly phenolic. Kid of Belgian. Hint of fruit. Dusty, fairly earthy. Nice character but simple and to style, could use more fruit.

More fruit notes on the palate. Pleasant watermelon character comes through, notes of pink lady midway before mild peppery spice and earth on back. Decent blend from fruit to bitter back. Not amazing, but has pleasant notes. Surprisingly subdued and subtle from Moon Dog, in a good way.

Slight fizz, but fills the mouth OK. Decent texture.

Delivers what it promises, not any more. Decent.

From Beer Cartel.

A - cloudy gold straw. Massive pillowy three finger head with large bubbles. Fades after a while

S - melon, wheat, slight dough.

T - more rock melon than watermelon and somewhat sweet. Lots of wheat and Hefe notes. Hint of tartness but overpowered by fruit.

M - light zesty, bubbles almost like soft drink. Mineral water aftertaste. Tops for style.

O - not the best offering and previous bottles had more watermelon floaties on them. Still solid tho, and a very refreshing drop.

Pours a cloudy white yellow with good head/lacing. Could well be a berlinner.

Smell is wheat, little funk, little lactic, bit of the fruit (I think the lime is more present than the watermelon). Fruit is kind of funky and rockmelon-y. There's also some more pleasant fruit notes floating around.

Taste is fruity, wheaty, lil sour.

Mouthfeel has the mint and still has the lime, less of the watermelon but you could say it adds a sweetness (and this may well all be the power of suggestion anyway).

Enjoyable beer, quite similar in profile to the previous ones in the series really, but possibly a little less sour if memory serves correctly.

Drank from my Ciney sniffer

A - Pours a pale lemon cloudy colour with a white head that reduces.

S - Watermelon and sweet vanilla aromas

T - Watermelon is definitely present. On the back palate. The front palate is a classic hefe with some spice.

M - Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Just a little thin.

O - Very refreshing summer beer that I would have again.

This Hefe was brewed with bucketloads of watermelon, lime and fresh mint and a nice muggy night calls for it,it pours a hazy pale straw hue with a white fluffy two finger head and some clingy lacing here and there, the smell is your typical Hefe with bananna and wheat but along with that I get the mint and watermelon too,the mouthfeel is light bodied, creamy and super sessionable with tastes first up of watermelons and lots of them followed by bananna,a touch of mint and lime and finished once again with a big hit of watermelon and overall I enjoyed this on this hot balmy night as it's very quaffable and I'd buy it again cheers.
