On tap at The Tioga Sequoia beer garden
A: Pours rich brown, little light passes through, with a creamy khaki head that settles and laces well.
S: Sweet dark chocolate, roasted malt, and a hint of coffee.
T: Roasted malt, big bittersweet chocolate, a hint of coffee, earthy and a little spicy hop presence, a touch of burnt toast, and some nice lactose sweetness.
M:Full body, low carbonation, creamy smooth.
O: Well balanced, not overly sweet. Really good stuff.
