Bottle poured into a Tioga Sequoia pint glass
A: Pours orange amber with a frothy light tan head that settles to a nice layer and laces well.
S: Toasty grain, some caramel toffee sweetness, floral notes, a little fruity.
T: Toasty malt, a little coffee, fruity notes, apple, a bit spicy, some caramel sweetness, and a kinda metalic like twang.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Drinkable, but nothing super special about it.

this was actually pretty enjoyable, picked up a six pack outside Yosemite National Forest at a gas station and was expecting it to be more of a west coast sam adams style offering. It had a nice nose on her, with a bit of pine and grassy coming at you. the pour was deep amber and some minimal lacing that didnt hang around too long. Style is Marzen and it was a true marzen with a nice chewy malt and some wheat mixed in there. the finish was much more hoppy than i had inticipated. it had a good tart finish with a hint of grapefuit in the Hop notes.
