Part of a variety 8-pack purchased in Vandalia, Illinois (near the steel fire-breathing dragon).
This beer is pale honey in color with a tight, white head. Aroma is light caramel, white grape, and grassy hops. NIce and heavy pale malt sweetness acts as a base for a spicy, herbal hop presence. A little bit of alcohol-based dark stone fruit notes come through when you swish it around your mouth. Has a prickly, but still creamy-smooth mouthfeel. Overall a nice balance of pale malt sweetness and noble hop bitterness/spiciness.

500ml bottle. No code date. Appearance: golden and hazy with a frothy whites foam cap. Aroma: light pils malt and a nice floral hop aroma Taste: Strong, rich pilsner malt flavor, with a strong noble hop bitterness to balance. Flavor is very much like a strong German Pils. Mouthfeel: heavier body than a typical pils, with a slight creaminess and moderate carbonation. Finish: Finishes with a good balance of malt and bitterness. Dry, with bitterness that slightly lingers. Overall: Taste of this beer completely matches what I was expecting from this beer. Despite the higher ABV this manages to retain the right balance of pils malt and hop character.

Hazy, with a thick and firm white head. The beer has a boozy smell. malt and some floral hops. Lots of malt. The taste is sweet, with some firm backbone bitterness and a soft evenness. The body is full and firm. Lingering bitter finish. This is a good brew, but not as impressive as their normal pilsner.

Pours a clear copper color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, sweet malt, yeast, hops, and a hint of earthy malt. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial Pilsner. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, sweet malt, earthy malt, yeast, alcohol, and slight hops. Overall, good appearance, decent body and aroma.

Poured from 500 ML bottle into my Michelob tulip
A: Solid golden Color with a light thick foam with OK lacing
S:Sweet malts and a hint of hops
T: Sweet and malty but without being sticky. Stays crisp like a pilz should.
M: Medium body with good carbonation.
O: An imperial Pilsner. this s a little heavy if I was looking for pilsner. But it is still crisp. Overall enjoyable.

A - Poured out a clear, gold color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sticky, sheets of lace.
S - It smelled floral, bready and sweet.
T - Sweet caramel with a light grassy bitterness. A boozy sweetness builds.
M - It was crisp, sharp and medium bodied.
D - Nicely done brew.

Dark gold in color with excellent clarity. A quarter inch of off white head is present. Brussels lacing. I can smell plenty of light malt and some aromatic German hops. The taste is a bit more on the sweet side with a lot of light malt. The bitter German hops appear at that back of the palate. You can also taste a bit of alcohol. This is fairly smooth and crisp.
