The unmistakable characteristics of this Bavarian Weissbier are achieved with a yeast that is decidedly fruity and phenolic. You may note clove, nutmeg or even vanilla and/or banana-like aromas and flavors.

Can into Nucleated Pilsner
Look: Semi hazy straw yellow, pouring a 1.5 finger head which dissipated into a silky cap. Very nice effervescence
Smell: Yeasty and doughy malt. Nice bit of lemon zest in there and some orange peel. Got a touch of grassy hops. Banana and vanilla I think as well. Medium strength nose
Taste: Mellow yeast, banana, lemon zest and biscuit malt. Slowly fades, revealing orange peel, a a hint of toasted wheat bread. Finish is very subtle and slowly fades as such.
Feel: Silky texture, medium body, gentle carbonation
Overall: One of the best hefes I have ever had

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet wheat and banana, nice and inviting. Tastes of sweet banana and wheat notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Schnickelfritz pours an amber color with a larger, long-lasting lacing head. The aroma has notes of dark banana. The aroma has notes of banana and dark spice. The flavor is the same, spicy, note of banana, but "darker." Good feel. Overall, very tasty hefeweizen, not so bright, has a sweetness though.

I’ve heard some good things about Urban Chestnut over the years but haven’t had a chance to try them yet. When I saw they had a Hefe on Tavour I figured it was a perfect time to give them a shot. Let’s crack it open and see what it’s all about
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with 2 fingers of frothy off white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is pretty standard for the style and doesn’t stand out much but I dig it. I’m picking up on aromas of banana bread, lemon juice, sweet honey, orange juice, clove, earthy wheat, and bready malt
Things are a bit more bland in taste, but it’s still pretty good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bready malt, underripe banana, lemon zest, orange zest, earthy wheat, and light bubblegum. The swallow brings notes of banana bread, bubblegum, lemon zest, doughy malt, earthy wheat, light clove, and floral hops
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp and slick bser. Finishes mostly dry and refreshing
It’s not my favorite Hefeweizen but it’s not bad by any means

From City Brew Tours, no dating.
It pours a slightly hazy gold with an abundance of foam, shrinks slowly leaving good lacing behind.
The smell is cloves and banana, light citrus, fruity.
The taste is fruity..lemon, big time cloves, banana, yeasty, not sweet nor bitter.
Lighter end of medium bodied, lively carbonation.
Nice beer.

Good but not great Weiss bier but definitely drinkable. A little over carbonated but can taste the spices and citrix. Pour is a little disappointing with little foam but would buy again on sale.

Nice clear golden color. Just a tad bit over on the carbonation, but not enough to ruin the mouthfeel.
The head bubbles down quickly after the pour.
The nose is slightly fruity (or citrus) and is mixed with a hint of either cloves or nutmeg. Very pleasant aroma.
It's a good summer beer, so have more than 1 out by the pool. Very drinkable.
This beer has more bite than your standard Bud, or Corona. If you're going to make a "regular" beer there should be at least some kind of bite (or flavor) to it, and this one comes through.
side note: I put this under the category of Witbeer, because there is no Weissebeer category to click on.

Dated 9-8-22 but still drinks nice. The flavor features a nice wheaty maltiness with bananas, cloves and a touch of vanilla.
Medium bodied...medium carbonation...drinks nicely as a thirst quencher. One of the better U.S made Hefe's I've had...top five I'd say. Really a nice balance between the flavors.

Undecipherable date code; drank 1/2/23 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice, noisy off-white head which quickly dissipated; no lace.
Apple cider & banana notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Apple cider & banana flavors.
A bit too heavy on the apple cider notes; it'll do in a pinch but it's not a Hefe I'll seek out again.
