Poured into a standard pint a dull copper color with a thinner but well sustained white head.Aromas of citric hops, caramel, and alcohol, almost DIPA'ish in nature.First off it is a sweet ipa no doubt, alot of caramel and alot of sugary sweetness, there is a decent grapefruit-like hop flavor to it but it seems to be overtaken by sweetness. The sweetest "standard" ipa I have had,it's not horrible but it's not something you could drink a large amount of,the malt bill needs to be toned down a little in my opinion.

A- Pours an orange tinged copper color with a little haze. A nice one finger creamy head sits on top for a while but leaves no lacing.

S- Toffees and fruit mingle together nicely with neither overpowering. Definite american hop character but also a nice mix of the toffee caramel and a little bready malt.

T- A light bitterness permeates with piney hops showing up on top of a crusty malt character. The finish has a bit of citrus perk that screams for another sip...and another.

M- A little bit more on the chewier side of IPA's which I like and goes well with the extra malt and caramel flavors this one has.

D- Really liking the complexity of this one. The mouthfeel and slight maltiness really stick with me, it's not an amber but it's more balanced than the average IPA and I like that. A nice job of not overdoing it.

12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

LOOK: Two fingers of head, clear brassy color

SMELL: Spicy, minty, orange pith, blonde tobacco, hay, persimmons, white pepper, underripe nectarines

TASTE: Super smooth, hit of caramel, grassy, spicy, leafy, sticky resin, earthy, citric peel, faint pine, bitter, dry finish

Somewhat agressive but balanced, still very much an American IPA but not so far gone that it loses its barrings with an insane amount of hops. Worth a visit IMO.

12 ounce bottle, w/o any freshness info that I can find.

Pours clouded medium amber, looser lite khaki head.

Some mint and tea on the nose.

Malty with ample caramel. Too sweet for the style, hops present but way in the rear.

Meh, not really doing it for me.

This IPA is a hazed brown-orange with a creamy off-white head with good strength. Lacing is in a thick and heavy layer on the glass before dissipating to a lighter but still plentiful patching.
This beer has an interesting profile for sure, hops easily detectable enough but certainly resting beneath the malts. The bitterness is akin to rind, a bit of citrus to it, and some of the earthy nature could be hops. Otherwise it's extremely doughy with lots of toffee and a little spiciness to it. What makes it most interesting is the strong tobacco-like note that comes off all the way from beginning to end and incorporates itself into every other aspect. The finish is sort of minty in the back off a tangier mint more forward.
This one is very creamy and smooth as well as being crisp, and it's a solid medium body holding it together. Chewy is the key here, as the doughy nature it shows translates to the feel.

On tap at Galaxy Hut...

Appearance: Looked like an IPA, okay cool!

Smell: What the heck? This does not have any scent of hops...

Taste: What...? This tastes like a muddled Pale Ale. Very little hops to speak of, verrrry malty, not at all like an American IPA

Mouthfeel: Mouthfeel was okay, nothing major.

Overall: Hopheads, AVOID THIS BEER. They have a lot to work on with this beer. The Porter was MUCH MUCH better. If you like balance, I guess it would be okay?
