One of the best double IPA's that I've tried.

The DC Metro area's best DIPA. I'd put this above OTWOA any day of the week - taste and price. Super juicy.

Poured a orangish gold body with grapefruit hops aroma.
More of a sweet DIPA than hoppy as the grape taste leads to a bit of sweetness, bordering on tropical fruit, and is a smooth, light bodied drinking IPA that hides higher ABV quite well. A little simplistic and not what hopheads prefer but I enjoyed my beer.

Tried on tap at a local establishment. Full pint.

Appearance golden cloudy with a good amount of head from the tap. Very appealing look.

Smell. Homerun. Smelled like mango and tropical fruits. Slight pine but really a fruity IPA.

taste: very very good as there is a good base sweetness that comes through the fruit. Not as bitter as one might imagine, in fact not very bitter at all. One of the more quaffable DIPAs around. But that lack of bitterness takes points off for lack of complexity

feel. Nice full mouthfell. Nice malt bill I presume

Overall. Great beer actually. Smell is amazing and taste leaves one waiting for more. Like Heady Topper noise with less of the full complexity of flavors but still very very good.
