Kaiser is like any other big macro beer/american adjuct lager. Pours golden clear with good carbontaion that provides an intial froathy white head that dissapates quickly. The smell and taste are bolstered by grain with some hop in an effort to balance the beer. This is a standard no-frills beer. Drink it cuz its beer.

Had one warm. Yuck. Had one cold, still bad. Oh well, back then I thought it was something good.

Straight adjuncts. Rice, corn, and an artificial sweetener vibe. Plasticky aftertaste. Oddly refreshing in a way (if it's sweltering hot) but another cheap adjunct lager I'd pass on 99 times out of 100. I'd sooner have a Coors Light, Miller Lite, or even a Bud Light over this beer, I think. Props to it, I guess, for having flavor, but it's not a good flavor. This *might* be the worst beer I have ever had.

Typical mainstream beer pumped with adjuncts. Watery, little head, hardly no hop taste and no aftertaste. Only qualification is as thirst quencher on a hot Brazilian summer day.

For the record... Stupidly cold, not foamed. Appearance: Translucent and a very pale yellow, almost white; Aroma: metal and a bit of hops; Flavor: corn, metals and a slight bitterness. "Teacher Girafales gives him zero!"

350 ml can bought and consumed in Manaus.

Poured light yellow-gold with a remarkably weak head.

Feel: watery light body with medium-high carbonation. Harsh and slightly astringent yet not crisp.

Flavor: slightly sweet and malty. Very mild, and slightly metallic flavor with just a touch of hops and a short-lived, unappealing aftertaste. The aroma is very weak.

O: a fizzy, light beer that's not up to the low standards of Brazil for these "Pilsen" style beers.

I didn't expect anything from this beer...and it still let me down.

Pale yellow in color, big head that falls flat almost before you get a chance to smell it. Almost no bubbles rising from the depths of this gem.

Smell is all corn. I can't overstate the corn-y-ness of this nose. The only thing that could smell more like corn is corn itself.

Taste is surprising with a decent hop presence. Then comes the corn/adjunct off putting flavors that I expected based on the "aroma."

The beer is sufficiently carbonated. However the aftertaste is cloying and durable. You also get a lingering bitterness that doesn't have any resemblance to hops...so where's it coming from?

This is one of the most flavorless beers I've ever encountered. I guess that's why the can touts it's 2011 award for "Superior Taste" by the International Taste & Quality Institute in Brussels. My take on that is it was entered in the bad lemonade category of the competition.

Surprisingly made some nice head. Surprises stoped there. Very pale yellow color. Good carbonation.
Aroma too faint, later got some corn.
Very light body, actually rather watery. Sweetness from non-barley cereals. Rather a corn juice with gaz. No bitterness at all. Better than water on a hot summer day (though makes you think twice).

A- big carbonation. 2 fingers of semi fast dissapating head with a little lace on glass. Normal pale lager color.

s- Malty, significantly apple. Sweet and a little hoppy, but normal and not too great.

T- Watery, wheat malty. Very little to talk about. Virtually not bitter a little sweet and metalic.

M- Huge carbonation at first then watery.

D- Obviously easy but no thanks.

The father of my friend in Brazil gave to me a 500 ml tall boy to drink from. It is his favorite beer. Alright, let's try it out:

Pale like a mass-porduced lager, some yellow straw color in that body, solid white head on top. My nose gets a corn-ridden beer that could be smoothed out. Also I can smell the can liner in the beer. Is that a bad omen? As it tured it, it wasn't horrid, but some parts of the beer could be sanded on its rough edges. Strong corn flavor, but less than a High Life or Landshark. One problem is this just isn't as balanced to be drinkable enough for me. And then the alcohol pokes through.

Eh...not for me. Seems too similar to the Palma Louca beer the US receives from this same brewery, and no, I wasn't fond of that offering.

This is Kaiser Pilsen's counter to Nova Schin. Nova Schin was launched with a "new recipe" and became a huge hit here, so now Kaiser is trying it too. There's not much of a difference in the 2 variations of this beer in my opinion but at least this one doesn't have the strong adjunct/chemical aftertaste. Pours a deep yellow with a large foam head. Doesn't have that strong of a smell and taste is very faint as well. This is nothing to go out of your way for.
