This brew pours a pale yellow much like a kolsch and has a decent white head with good lacing. That's where my praise ends. The aroma is ok with little hop aroma. The flavor is much like that. It has a minimal hop flavor and little pilsner malt flavor. It reminds me a bit of a low alcohol or non alcohol brew. It's a shame cause the only other Brazilian offering I've had was xingu which was not too bad at all, but this one misses the mark.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light golden amber with active carbonation. Half finger white head with decent retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet and adjunct malt, leaning standard adjunct lager. Pleasant, but no detectable hops. Flavor is also pretty much straight adjunct lager; sweet malt with a vague hint of grassy hops. Very light flavored. Light bodied. Not a German pilsner, really, but like most light lagers, slightly sweet, bland and inoffensive. Perfectly adequate for lunch. I would have scored this one higher as an adjunct lager, but it's a big miss for a pilsner.
