Moderate head which settles to a thin layer of fine bubbles. Green hued, whitish gold color with a strong haze. Thick 2-D lacing (blankets or streaks).
I smell beef stew and caramel--overwhelmingly malty to the nose. Some raw barley grain as well.
The body is thinnish and the carbonation higher. My first impression is this is a farmhouse ale. The Belgian yeast is subtle but surprising since it's nowhere in the smell. Cream flavored finish with a short aftertaste.

Very nice balance. Crisp, clean taste - similar but more rich in flavor than a good pilsner.

From the 500 ml. bottle, bottled in February 2015. Sampled on June 9, 2015.
It has your basic pale yellow-olive pour with a quick fizzy head that diminishes almost immediately. Slight haze.
The aroma expresses toasted biscuit and toasted malts along with pepper, spices, and grassy hops on the tail end.
Light body. Creamy and refreshing.
The taste also brings out the fine toasted bread and biscuit notes and the pepper after bite plays up some but does not overpower. Clean finish.
