The beer pours a nice and creamy white head that dissipates a little bit quicker than I would like. The beer itself is a nice and clear solid gold color. The beer has a very noticeable aromatic smell with a strong, bitter and earthy hop smell with a sweet yeast smell underneath and slightly bready malt smell as well. The taste is similar to the smell but the yeast taste and malts are stronger. The hops are just earthy and bitter as the smell. The mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied but a little heavier. Carbonation is biting. Overall, a pretty good Saison.

Appearance: 1/3 inch head, clear, gold in color, high carbonation,
Smell: lemon, funk, hay, pepper
Taste: lemon, funk, hay, pepper, and dry hops
Mouthfeel: funky with a light bitterness, medium-light bodied with medium carbonation
Overall: A solid, clean, and enjoyable saison that tastes dry hopped. A good saison by just about any other brewery, this one is probably my least favorite of Mystic's seasonal saisons. I can see myself getting an annual bomber, just not more than that.

Forgot about this bottle. Bought last year it is batch 003.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a crystal clear golden hue with a nice four finger fluffy head that fades pretty slowly leaving lots of sticky side lacing and a good thick cap of a blanket. Very, very nice.
S - Almost tripel like aromas here. Fair amount of belgian aromas here maybe even a light banana or that could just be my nose playing tricks. Nice sweeter malts here along with some very light floral notes. Fairly pleasant for being 18+ months old.
T - Taste is fairly solid. Nice sweet belgian malts and spice notes. Faint saison funk, light fruits. No hops really, perhaps they have transformed into that lingering fruit flavour. Pleasant for sure and tasty. There is a surprising amount of booze though.
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated and sharp, however, the amount of booze I'm getting knocks this down from a 4.75 to a 4.25.
O - Overall this is a solid beer, even for its age. The alcohol flavours though and feel in the mouth just hindered the enjoyability of this beer for me. One would think considering the amount of accidental age on this beer that would have tamed it but alas, that would be a wrong assumption.
