Pours a clear straw in color. Very little pale white head that totally disappears pretty quickly.
Aroma is lightly acidic. Relatively mild, pears and lemon. Hint of oak.
Taste is much more complex. Light acidity, some funk, orchard fruit and oak. A bit of leather and a slight hint of the savory character that often comes with Mystic saisons.
Effervesent and refreshing while also complex. Very light, love the 4.5% abv.
Very nice beer, look forward to future iterations.

Poured from bottle, pulled from the fridge but allowed to warm a bit. Appearance: dull hazy straw, tiny bubbles, white head disappears instantly, no particles or sediment w/ the first pour, second glass (bottom half of the bottle) was pretty turbid.
Aroma: perfume like aroma with some pretty nice floral notes. Peach, pear, lemon, light green apple. No real funk or yeast presence.
Taste: Initial flavor is right on pace with the nose. Bright and pleasantly tart. Pretty moderate acidity, a bit of oak, some light cereal grain mixing in at the end, surprisingly clean finish leaving just a little bit of a pear-like aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light & moderately bubbly, a bit slick. Carbonation wasn't as high as the appearance suggested but was pretty on point.
Overall: super refreshing tartness without being harsh or acidic, flavor and aroma are complex yet balanced with a good clean finish. Was pumped to give this a try and can happily say it met my expectations. Looking forward to some similar releases from Mystic in the future!

Picked up a 32oz. growler at the grand opening of their brewpub.
$10 for the beer and $5 for the glass.
Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a full finger of bright white head after a rigorous pour.
Aroma is slightly fruity, lots of brett, some decent funk. Extremely inviting.
Taste is even better with just a hint of sweetness to round out this wild ale. Perfect balance of brett, sour, tartness, and super juicy.
Finishes super clean.
Mouthfeel is crisp and the carbonation is spot on for the style.
I could drink this beer every day and never grow tired of it. It really is that good.

Served on tap at the publick house in Brookline MA
Sered in a mystic pt glass

A: served with a fluffy white 2 finger head that dissapates nicley.... Body is a hazy light yellow straw color. Looks very refreshing and very light, not much lacing.

S: musty funk with notes of Brett, nose almost remiss me of a berlinerweiss, a light perfume floral smell as well. Which I'm guessing has something to do with the name. Lemon citrus notes are also present... As the beer warms a touch it seems that the must and earthyness are coming from the light oak notes present.

T: lemony delicious, with a slight tartness, funky barrel notes blend in beatifuly, this is a very well balanced brew with everything complimenting everything else very nicley. A bit of floralness on there as well. Again i am slughtly reminded of berlinerweiss. Very tasty!

M: light bodies an very drinkable! A great beer for an almost 100 degree day here in Boston. Medium/high carbonation maintains a fuzzy/creamy mouthfeel.

O: I really enjoyed this beer, it's a great release from mystic and it deffinatly excites me for future sour beer releases of theirs in the future... Really glad I had the opportunity to try this.
