Bottle from Ball Square.
Pours a really clear Medium golden color with a huge bubbly white head that is continually fed by a steady stream of carb bubbles. Earthy and floral hops dominate the aroma with a bit of bready yeasty funk and hints of pepper and spice rounding out the nose. The flavor is a yeasty bready affair with plenty of spice to cut through it all. Light floral earthy hop flavor with hints of melon like fruit. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a tart bubbly mouthfeel. Another Saison this time a little hoppy. This one is drinkable, not my favorite from them, but good just the same.

Champagne-corked wine bottle served in pint glass. Batch number 001. Cloudy orange in color with intense cabronation and a massive white head. Subtle yeast-fresh aroma.

Flavor is quite delicate, with sour citrus fruit notes and a suggestion of wheaty/graininess. Surprisingly, it works well with the heavy carbonation. And for an American take on farmhouse ale I am very pleased with how gentle the sourness/funkiness is. Not bad at all, though I'm guessing this particular bottle would have been better when it was fresher.

Pours a medium slightly hazy amber, couple inches of tannish head.

Smells of lemon, citrus peel, spicy hops, some floral or grassy character.

Taste is happier than expected, pretty hop forward with floral and lemony hop character, maybe a bit of other zesty fruit, maybe some grape even, some farmhouse yeast. Fairly bright. This actually tastes a lot like my most recent batch of homebrew which was another hoppy saison.

Nicely carbonated and pretty, I dunno, sharp? mouthfeel. Between the carb and the light body and the hoppiness this is a nicely refreshing beer.

Nice hoppy saison.

Batch 001, just released a week ago.

A: Pours a very light hazy orange. Big effervescent white head. Head fades away slowly, leaving lots of little fluffy tidbits of lacing behind.

S: Nice sweet citrus and floral notes. Little bit of bready notes and some spices.

T: Kind of a funky graham cracker crust meets orange peel meets flowery taste. Very interesting combination. Crackery malt in the middle. Turns bitter on the back end with a little floral and citrusy hops mainly.

M: Medium bodied, pretty standard.

O: A very floral saison. Lots of floral aroma notes and a ton of flowers in the flavor. Probably one of the most floral saisons I've had, check it out if you like the style.
