Poured from a 750 ml bottle my son gave me, it started to foam as soon as I removed the cap, never a good sign in my experience. It took several minutes for the foam in the glass to go down enough for me to get to the liquid. The brew is very cloudy and amber colored, obviously highly carbonated with a fat head. The flavor is slightly sweet, with a honey character. Hop presence is sort of grassy, more like a British IPA than an American IPA. Glad I didn't pay $12 for this bottle, not worth it IMHO

A: medium orange, bone white head of several fingers. super carbed in appearance.
S: spicy yeast notes, white pepper, flowers, cut grass, bread crust.
T: spicy hops, touch of pine, grass and herbs, pepper, yeasty esters, touch of sweet maltiness, quite bitter.
M: effervescent, prickly carbonation initially, but tames after a few minutes, medium body.
O: good Saison qualities, good IPA qualities and balanced well.

This was just released today!
Carbonation was high, had to let it sit for a few minutes after pouring for the head to stop rising.
Smell: citrusy hops and saison yeast.
Taste: the balance leans a little more towards the IPA side, probably because it is super fresh.
Solid representation of this trendy new style.

A - Pours orange in color with hues of amber, very opaque and has a billowing paper white head. This is one that even if you pour slowly, it'll still have a volcano of carbonation.
S - Hay, barnyard aromas (minus the feces), floral with an apple/pear type fruit coming through and peppery yeast.
T - Fruity/floral taste to start off and has good yeast coming through with light malts. There's an ever so slight tartness on the end and finishes is with some bitterness.
M - Easy drinking, dry, effervescent and very carbonated.
O - They really mixed both styles well. The IPA shines through and so does the saison qualities, but neither overpower one another.
