Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Light gold color with a thick, white, long-lasting head with tiny streams of bubbles holding it up from underneath.

Nose has light hoppiness, but not incredibly strong. Flavor is a watered down hop without a lot of bitterness. Kind of an IPA for those not familiar with the style. Nothing overpowering, but with a little slick mouth feel.

Boring, but not offensive, and better than most beers I have found where I am staying in Florida.

Best by May 2011.
12oz bottle poured into a snifter. Copper-colored, small white head. A fair amount of lace.
Mostly hops aroma. Citrus, a little floral. A tiny bit of sweet malt.
Grapefruit taste, some piney hops. Hardly any malt.
Average mouthfeel. Definitely more on the meek side, without a lot of that IPA bitterness.
OK beer.

12oz bottle

A- Pours a clear golden amber color with an off-white head.

S- The aroma is biscuity malt, caramel and hops. The aroma is pretty subdued.

T- The taste is sweet malt and caramel up front with some lingering hop bitterness in the finish.

M- The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

O- Overall, not a bad IPA. No, it is not an intense hop bomb, but it is a solid beer overall.

From notes 3/13. 12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. 'Dry hopped with cascade for an awesome hop experience' on neck of bottle.

Pours a light copper with a thin layer of off white foam, light retention with fair to decent lace. A bit undercarbonated like many of thier brews and perhaps aimed at consumption direct from the bottle. Brewed and bottled, I believe, at a location other than the small brewery/tasting room here.

Nice citric hop aroma initially or after a good spin, yet less so when the beer glasses over given the light carbonation. it's a constant battle to bring forth the aroma, yet doing so only makes it even more difficult as the carbonation diminishes further. Pleasant overall though a bit reaching, yet nothing to deter.

Hint of caramel on the taste along with a neutral grain character, light sweetness on the finish accompanied by a light though not quite faint bitterness. Feel is smooth for an IPA given the light bitterness. Hop aroma is enhanced with warming but still subtle.

In the end this beer drinks like a Pale Ale. A Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with a bit less caramel and a bit less Cascade as well. An easy drinking warm climate Pale Ale.

Note: 6.0% on label....

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours light amber with full head of white foam. Light (very) citrus smell - but virtually nonexistent. Lightly hopped malty flavor with a long finish. Some citrus too. Lightly carbonated. Nondescript IPA, neither high nor low. Better ones out there for sure, but it does the trick.

Poured into a Kwak glass. Says for the freshest taste enjoy by May. There's plenty of head and smells fine so I think we're good. I've been wanting to try Cold Storage for a while but haven't made the leap since they're so expensive. Got a single at Total Wine for $1.99.

A- Pours a medium gold color with a two finger head that sticks around plenty before reducing to an 1/8 inch head and nice lacing that reminds me of frost formation.

S- Sharp, piney, citrusy hops that are no doubt the West coast variety. Also smells of fresh cereal grain that's sweet and melds with the hop aroma beautifully. Exactly what I look for in the nose of an IPA.

T- And the goodness carries over in the taste. More fresh, spicy hops complemented wonderfully by sweet maltiness and little to no alcohol bite. Thoughts of grapefruit and blood orange.

M- The drinkability of this IPA is brought on by the well-rounded mouthfeel and what I assume is a low ABV. Medium-high carbonation.

O- Jeez. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. This is a quintessential IPA. Could there be a fourth excellent brewery from Florida (the first three being CCB, St. Somewhere and Due South)?

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a nonic. Dry-hopped with Cascade hops.
This beer pours a moderately hazy amber colour with two fingers of bubbly head. The head retains and laces nicely. The aroma is heavy on the floral hops with a bit of citrus in the back, without too much else of note. A little weak smelling, but still smells good. The taste is quite unique for an IPA. There's not much of a malt backbone here at all, it's just very delicate floral and citrus hops. The bitterness isn't overwhelming, yet the flavors here are obviously predominantly hoppy. Of course, there is a bit of a bitter aftertaste that reminds you that you are indeed drinking an IPA and not a pale ale.

The mouthfeel and drinkability are both perfect. This has a very crisp and delicate mouthfeel that perfectly pairs with the beer. And the drinkability is absolutely off the charts; this is super refreshing and goes down very easy. It's a good "training wheels" IPA that's obviously hop-forward without punching you in the face with bitterness. Like the normal Florida Avenue Ale, I think I'll be drinking a lot of this over the summer.
