12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/7/2015. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of light grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and bready malt sweetness; with decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid IPA. Good robustness and balance of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Tastes very wheaty... Not in a good way. Doesnt wow me with complexity. Has a lingering bitterness that is never remidied. And an abv that isn't attempted to be masked. Def would avoid this beer unless only other options were light.

Pours copper gold, clear with a small, white finger high head. Leaves a singular ring of lacing and some clumps as you drink. Average retention at best.

Honey bread, somewhat grainy with a overarching grassy hop profile, some danker pine and subtle dried tropical fruits.

Bready with lots of cereal grains. House yeast is phenolic adding clove and some banana bread with some red fruit esters. Grassy hops play catch up with a lagging pine. When cold, the finish is very grainy and a touch metallic. Medium/light bitterness brings grainy dryness.

Medium body with average carbonation. Unremarkable with light bitterness, well hidden alcohol and somewhat drying.

Hops need to be really kicked up to call this an IPA, it's a drinkable pale with a Belgian-esque house yeast that could either indicate complexity or sloppiness but it adds some much needed activity to this one. Not a bad beer at all, just not up to par on the style.
